To answer your question...there were playoffs and season 1 just ended. Final game was between teams AaA and Fanatic, both European (our NA American teams did well, just not well enough). Fanatic was the season 1 champion.

And as for starting your ELO over again, they've never confirmed that it'll be the case. They still haven't declared what they plan to do, be it a fresh start or an average between your current ELO and the baseline ELO of 1200.

Oh if anyone plays Anivia....her and Orianna are a ridiculous champ combo late game. The 2 of them can EASILY defend a tower against a full 5 man push alot of the time from WELL behind their tower.

Ashe TF Shen is also great. Almost a guaranteed kill every time all 3 ults are up. Everytime ashe lands an arrow, TF ports in to stun, and if needed Shen ults in last.

you watch the championship tournament last year? euros had a tf/ashe/shen combo that was absolutely raping the americans aoe team. They had the amercians shutdown untill they perma banned TF from every game after.

Tryndamere is my growing favorite atm. Undying + 100% crit is just retarded in most pubs. About an hour ago it was 5v3 with 2 leavers on the team about 15 minutes in, roughly 20 more kills for their side from all the feeding. Solo'd Baron while my 2 teammates defended base, pushed through 2 top lane turrets, base turret + inhibitor and took down their nexus solo. Was definitely good for some lulz.


Or, Brand if I'm feelin' like playing a caster. Love his passive for some early game lane control.

75% of high end gameplay is the fact that their support classes actually just babysit and dont lane push, proper ward/map coverage, balancing your team with a mix of tank, support, and carry, and last hitting like a boss. Actually coordinating ults and stuff is simply a matter of finding a group of competitive people to practice with, that's where I'm stuck.

The best is having the ability to sense where the other team runs (when Fog of War is blocking your sight) and you slowly drag your mouse around as if you were following them, then you let an ulti rip for a kill. Sniping people with that is probably my favorite thing to do.

It's a matter of just pinging. Whenever Ashe lands an arrow and TF has his ult up, he ports in for a 2nd stun on the person.

Shen only ports in if needed. To prevent someone from Flashing out etc. Or to ensure a double kill instead of just one target dying etc.

Level 20. Most everyone in random 5's are special kinds of retards. These are the people that think it's acceptable to take all tank classes, all melee and no ranged, etc. Their team wasn't oblivious, though. The two remaining on mine simply fought off and killed two of them while defending our base. By the time the rest saw that I was actually getting to their base, they made a frantic attempt to stop me but with Baron and undying it wasn't difficult to take out a Kog and a Yi together + whatever other class was left that I was double tower diving.

They should of had Baron and came rolling through us. When it's 5v3 and only one of those 3 (me) had more than 4 kills, though, most people get bold.

I'm saying it was done against me in a ranked game with TF and Ashed duo Qed - Shen randomly matched with them.

So I talked some team mates in normal to do it and worked well on the first game we tried it. It's a very easy combo if you have all your lanes play defensively try to push as little as possible.

Malphite is pretty fucking baller dude. I take him when I feel like tanking, which isn't very often because you need people that don't suck nutsack when you use your ulti in team pvp, else you're up shit creek.

Q ability is tight for early game harassing. He's pretty sweet to build for AE DPS too with his passive ability. Throw some crit and AS on him and he clears whole groups of creeps in a swing or two.

No. All the heroes are available to everyone who bought the game. However, you are awarded gold or silver coins for playing games (more awarded if you are on the winning team than if you are on the losing team) and you can use the coins at the game shop to purchase avatars. The avatars are just different skins for the various heroes in the game.

My first 3 games were last night, so I'm not expert.

Basically you have 2 runners and 2 defenders and 1 roamer (worked well for us)

The object of the game is to have your runners get killed by the opponents fountain beam which scores you one point. First to ten wins.

You cannot kill any creeps, jungle or lane. CS should be 0 at the end of the game.

So naturally your only path is through the jungle, thats where a roamer comes in.

For example the last game we had:

Vlad: Runner
Jax: Runner
Yorrick: Roamer
Blitz: Defender
Xin: Defender

Runners want to have Flash/Ghost or Flash/Cleanse
Defenders want Exhaust/Fortify

Snowballing is allowed.

Yah it was fun, but it helps to have everyone be at the same skill level.

Overall, he is even weaker early game in my opinion. I've been playing Tryndamere religiously for the past week, ive won about 20 out of 22 games with him pre buff. With this 'buff' the positives are no health is lost when using abilities, and he has higher damage at low health.

The new fury system means it takes longer to build fury than the 8 stacks previously, You get 5 points of fury for a regular hit and 10 points for a kill or critical hit. This means early game its much harder to heal. Oh yeah. Even with full 100 fury, at rank 5 q ability, only heals for 300. It was over ~450 max 8 stacks pre buff. A few crits and a kill and you could max out 8 stacks for a nice heal real quick. The cooldown appears to be lengthened on fury too.

His W got a nice mean buff, this will make him a beast in higher elo games IMO. Basically his W will ALWAYS debuff attack damage no matter what direction their facing, before it would only snare if they looked away. Thats a solid buff right there.

His E apparently scales with AP and AD..Who gives a fuck only retards buy AP on trynd anyway.

Moving on, I didn't notice any changes to his ultimate other than the fury component.

Late game he is a bit more beastly than before, with that W a guaranteed debuff on attk dmg, and his damage scaling quite nicely at low hit points.

This means pubstomping 30minute + low level games is a given, high level games will make tryndamere competitive. This was definitely a rework designed to make tryndamere more viable mid/late game if you weren't able to get super farmed.

I'm not sure how this will effect jungle tryndamere, I don't like that set up because I have to sacrifice one of my summoner abilities for smite, plus your creep farm is going to overall be much lower unless you can dip into a lane sooner than later.

Overall his very early game is going to be a bit more challenging, which boggles me, for competitive play you will be forced to have a healer/babysitter, or jungle.

For pubstomping and my low level account? I'll take mid everytime.

30% BASE. It scales with AP. Viegar on a test map oneshotted a character with deathfire grasp because it scales with AP.

It's a perfect core item for poppy. You should build her AP everytime. Progression should be: Sheen , Deathfire Grasp, Lichbane, Deathcap. Poppy is built as an anti carry. Her passive makes her tanky by nature, but she needs very high AP and the lichbane proc + deathfire grasp to make her burst crush the squishy carry before her ultimate runs out.

That's just my advice after 3 years 3,000 games and watching the poppy played in world championship =p

They both fill a similar roll, udyr can be built tankier, warwick has more ganking power with his summoner suppression ult. Apples to apples they do nearly identical work.

depends what level you are, prince and 'big knuckle' account are not 30s, so its easier to steamroll carry. At high play levels udyr is a tanky disabler, prince manages to build him AD dps at this level.

AoE teams in any DotA format game are devastating. The only problem is the AoE ults usually have a really long cooldown, leaving you somewhat vulnerable after one good team fight. Even if you wipe out the other team, when they come back it could be an issue, especially if you're still pushing and injured.
