New P99, on Blue - LFG

Hello all,

BLUF: Stuck at very slow leveling and looking for a group to hang out with around lvl 11

I am currently playing a Iskar Necromancer in Field of Bone, have hit level 11 and am having difficulty leveling further. Most of the mobs are either Green or Red and a few Blue far between.

I have been reading online that Kurn's Tower is the next likely spot, for leveling, but it appears that you either need a few more levels to solo, or need a group.

You can solo entrance of Kurns at 11. It’s great exp! Is this your first char on blue? PM me and I’ll see if I can’t help you out with some pp and or starter gear. Will make your exp time easier and more fun! But great choice for a starting race and class.

Actually its my first character on P99. I played EQ back in the day, played with a group up to lvl 60 about 20 years ago. Was browsing twitch and found a really nice streamer playing on blue, she helped me get restarted on P99.

I was able to get into Kurn's Tower last night, jumped into a pick up group and did really well.

The thing I loved about Everquest is that it forced groups.

Get up a little bit higher and I'll duo w/ you on my bard. Think I'm 35 ish.

We can go tear up paw and then get you some charming experience under your belt in Kaesora.

I'd suggest looking around for a leveling guild, as well. Can make it a lot easier to find people to get groups going, and to make some friends that you play with more than just once in a pick up group. Ultimately, I think making friends in the game is what keeps people coming back day after day.
