I was going to post it as soon as I saw the original Soviet Union post, but alas he beat me to it.

And as I've mentioned before, pretty much anything content related at this point will be pushed back considerably. Multiple developers have been affected by tornados in the southeast region of the country, and development has pretty much come to a halt.

Is this more a people issue or a server/data issue? If it's a server issue I guess we wait. If it's a people issue what skills are necessary to help dev? We have quite a few bored level 60s w/ no VP, hole or epics to work on and I'm sure we could find more people to help push content through.

My comment was a direct response to threads like this that pop up all. the. time. When is xxx coming out? Why hasn't xxx happenned yet?

This server is a passion for the devs as well as many of the players and if the devs need help to keep things moving while they get back on their feet, I'm sure there are more folks in the community that are being freed up to help as they hit 60 and look for things to do.

It's really, really horrible what has happenned with all of the natural disasters all over. I can't go build nilbog a new house as much as I'd like to, but I'd love to be able to lend what free time I do have to help building the virtual house he's created for all of us.

Random timeline question- my memory is hazy...but didnt they announce the "idea" of epic quests before epics where released and had players "on the lookout" for rare or not-before seen items- aka "general" epic drops started dropping off of "non" raid NPCs- I thought this was with the release of the hole...or something..

I think the massive xp bonus for the hole was added in early 2001...but yeah, it was awesome exp, and Magicians could solo the garbage out of that place.
