Greetings and where to level

Hey all, after some great feedback on the other subforum, I decided to make a barb shaman, named Skotch. I just hit level 5 in everfrost peaks and was wondering where I should head next with a reasonable chance to get a group. Should I try to make the journey all the way to EC or are there other good locations for the next few levels? I feel like 20 years ago I would always do EC, WC, Oasis so I am completely down for something new, but I also realize that there are likely not going to be a lot of low level people running around. Qeynos Hills till ehh 9 or 10? It's been a while. Before you leave, Buy any useful mandatory shaman spells in halas with what ever coin you have on hand.
Then run to north karana and msg druids for a port to west commonlands and get bound at freeport.

At that point you have a few options.
Orcs if you can group, Scarabs in north ro, Zombies in nektulos.

youre in a great starting area, do gnoll teeth quest, do bandit sash quests, and focus on those two until youre in your mid/high teens and then head to the desert!

Collect as many putrid rib bones as you can in Qhills, u see a green putrid? kill it! Same goes for Rabbid Wolves and grizzly bears!

These quests will make the game feel like everQUEST...

Its like wow almost with the quest reward exp and you will level so fast with all those turnins, while making starter plat!
