How to raise Halas faction

Hi all!

I (Noobie) have a Bertox Gnome Necromancer, how do I raise Faction in Halas so that I can sell and bank in Halas?

I sneaked in there and conned the banker, he is already dubious to me.

I don't know if skeleton form works in halas, as a necro that is in your bag of tricks.
You can bank with feign death if you're careful.

Its more about being able to sell loot from Permafrost, banking is a nice bonus.

My strat was to ask in ooc if any newbie barbs would sell / bank for me and I'd camp ice giants all day. I'd give them a % cut or tell them to take what they need. Generally I was getting great results with this method.

Some gold to plat strats I wrote based around ice giant farming in everfrost.

The people who I would trade gold for plat or have bank my gold, generally asked me if I had fine steel to sell.
I never stepped foot in halas and netted tens of thousands of plat.

Another thing you can do is bag drop swapping.
0. Make a barbarian alt on the same account with the highest CHA possible.
1. place items you wish to sell in a bag
2. Log out in a Secluded safe spot and when the timer says 5 seconds till camp then drop the bag
3. wait a second at the character screen and log in on your barb alt.
4. Sell the items, return the bag via drop method
5. Have someone help you transfer the coin to your main then or at a later time
(you cant drop coin on P99)

Or have barb alt convert coin to gems if you lack trust in your fellow gamers. You will lose a small amount of plat in the conversion process... think of it as taxes. 104 charisma is key though. Make sure both characters have 104 or higher.

There is a vendor out on the tundra not too far from Permafrost on one of the old fallen building structures. Not sure what faction they are. Either they are a shaman spell vendor or normal Halas merchant faction. No other npcs or guards around them. Might just be able to kill a ton of gnolls in blackburrow and sell to them.

There are actually breakpoints for CHA,. I think 92 is the BP before 104.
And yes, excellent addition regarding gems.

to your credit, 104 is the last breakpoint I believe. meaning you get the most out of having your cha at 104

You can bank from outside with the camera panned out and looking in from the back door. My Dark elf and Troll do that all the time.
