Hi Blue folks, I owe it to the players I lead on Green to do some research on some raid targets. I feel like I don't know enough about certain targets to lead raids on them or to pull. It has been many years since I raided any of this on Red99. I'm not about to join another guild nor infiltrate one, so I'm just gonna ask.

I'm looking for pull info, FTE race meta tactics, recommended resistance thresholds, recommended positioning techniques, and any special roles or tasks needed to take on the following targets:
• Innoruuk
• Maestro of Rancor
• Hate minis (when they are added)
• Severilous
• Nagafen
• Vox
• Dracoliche
• Cazic Thule
• Chardok King, Queen
• Trakanon
• Lodizal (esp how that FTE race works atm)
• Velketor the Sorceror
• Zlandicar
• Klandicar
• Vindi, Statue, Tormax, all those Kael bosses
• Yelinak

From a few hints to a full download, lay it on me! Please feel free to post in this thread or PM me if you prefer.

Make sure if you kill a mob that you have the FTE!

Also, don't run your mob around in circles, pull it directly to your raid

The Maestro. Well. He jams out pretty hardcore in hate with some really sick midi synth tunes. On his magical pipe organ. In a big church.

If u go in there just get ready to be blown away. Ur ears will forever be Innoruuks and no other zone will sound the same or as good as the Maestros.

He's a pretty cool xude.

Use lull to pull Dain from places outside his throne room while everyone else races like suckers.

In the same spirit, CoTH an engager into Doze room for FTE while everyone else is racing like a bunch of suckers.

haha typical forum snark. But no, for real, anyone willing to give me some tips on fighting or pulling any single one of these mobs, please PM me or post here. I have a 60 warrior and access to a 57 monk.

I'm constantly grilling <Castle> Blue for info, so I figured I'd try to crowdsource it a little bit.

Don't you guys already have all of these on green?

• Lodizal (esp how that FTE race works atm)

To the best of my knowledge, the last time I was there people park pets in the water where he spawns and spam pet attack and whoever gets yellow text FTE message gets him. I haven't been to a Lodi in over a year though so maybe it's changed.

The rest you'll have to figure out for yourself =)

Pro tip for Draco, have necros constantly spamming ignite bones on him to keep him skeleton form so you don’t have to deal with his annoyingly small hit box.

Thanks. Good tip. Ignite Bones/Chill Bones has come in handy against certain other mobs to make them easier for the melees to swing at, including birdhorses in Plane of Sky, seahorses, chromadracs, and other "flying" or floating mobs.

I've received some private tips from people and I appreciate them. Maybe this thread can benefit other players too, or maybe it'll just die.

• Maestro of Rancor

Maestro Lifetap is 180 degrees front AE only. Be sure to keep the raid WELL away from him while pulling, shrink the MA and have him / her stand in a corner (there's a good spot opposite end of the organ hall from Maestro spawn, but be sure to have outside roamers cleared first!), then give the MA a good 20 seconds to build proper aggro before you call engage.

Melees shall fight at max range and use as little push on their weapons as possible (you don't want to push him into the wall deep enough that he's "behind" the MA).

Make it absolutely clear that no one is EVER to pull aggro off the MA. If it happens anyways, call everyone to back off immediately. An AE lifetap on the raid = Maestro full health again. If he never turns around, he's easy peasy.

Obviously, clerics should heal from max range (possibly hide behind the corner that you pulled him past on incoming)

• Velketor the Sorceror

The only deal here is to interrupt his casts: Pull him out of his room, onto the ramp, and have the MA constantly on one side, then the whole raid on the other side, with MAX push / knockback weapons (opposite to Maestro) - keep pushing him along the ramp, then exercise a quick TURN with MA, Velk & raid at the end of the ramp, and push him down again the other direction. MA obviously has to slowly walk backwards.

Do not get sloppy when he gets low / attempts to gate: Keep up the same-side push, or you can do the whole health bar once more.
