Exp Group for levels 50-60

What are 3 zones to find a pick up group for levels 50-60 other than the hole? My primary class is a warrior.

You're better off sending tells to LFG people and starting groups, the only zone for consistent pick up grouping is the Hole. Making a good buddy out of a cleric would be huge for you.

This seems pretty consistent with my experience. It's sad.. when the server first opened weren't there so many people that they started a Teal server?

Blame the ZEM for everyone sticking to the Hole more than the population. The population IS much lower than at launch but that was too much really. Its still a pretty healthy population.

Another problem is that many classes would prefer to solo or duo. A cleric and ench can absolutely wreck any group content in the game and make far more xp doing so than they would carrying a melee toon along with them.

Additionally, there's a problem of the other Kunark dungeons being considered "loot zones" versus "xp/leveling zones" by the general playerbase. If people are in KC or Seb primarily to farm then adding more people than they need just means more dice rolls to share the loot with from their viewpoint.

The Hole is a cool zone though. If you haven't spent a lot of time in it then its worth doing the 50-60 grind down there at least once, you'll learn a lot about the place. But I sympathize with you wanting more variety.

Skyfire mountains, charduck, and burning woidz is pretty good for some 49+ levels.

Guk is gr8 till 54.

The Hole has the best ZEM and it's big enough with fast enough respawn where it can support 10-12 groups. So unless you are looking for loot, there isn't a reason to be elsewhere.

50-60 the XP is so bad people only want to do 2-3 (maybe 4) person groups outside of KC, and it will take you 3 years to level to 60 at LCY and Basement in full groups. The reality is you need to make your own groups or you will sit LFG for 30 minutes then log out.

The P99 experience takes a turn for the worse at about level 53 and that's when I imagine the bulk of the population starts rolling alts. The top guild right now is TMO level immersed so there is no competition or reason to get to 60 unless you want to become one of the mighty unwashed.

It would be really nice if we had the incentive to have full groups (more XP bonus) but I guess 'not classic' ect ect. The GMS spend 90% of their time worrying about 5%-10% of the population (raiders) but won't give the other 90% QoL upgrades like full group incentives - it's really a bummer honestly, and about the only thing they did right on Red Server.

Just to tack on to what my esteemed colleague said, let me put it this way... on Blue, without doing any leveling in The Hole from 51-60 (mostly KC, Seb, Chardok, and a tiny bit in HS every once in a while), it took me a year to get to level 60. That was with:


Hybrid XP penalty
People shunning hybrids due to the XP penalty
People extra-shunning rangers
Living in an apartment, single, playing most nights 6pm-11pm and most of the weekend unless my friends dragged me out or I had a hot one-and-done use-me-for-a-free-meal-and-ghost-me match-dot-com date that night.


On Green, mostly leveling exclusively in The Hole from about 54-60 with the following:

Hybrid XP penalty
People shunning hybrids due to the XP penalty
People extra-shunning rangers
Married and owning a home (so significantly less play time), generally only being able to XP on Friday nights, losing XP to DTs on Wednesday Sky raids, and being not able to play at all for about 6 weeks due to a back injury (I wish I had a better story like I hurt it during a wild fornication maneuver, but in reality I just stepped up on a stepladder to change a light bulb wrong I guess?)


I made it from 51 to 60 this time around in 6 months.

THAT'S how good the Hole XP is.

51-60 over 6 months with only weekend playtime hits close to home: Me and my wife don’t have kids yet though.

I’m a wizard so I think my hard part is grouping to 51 without jboots. Then From what I’ve read I need to spend a whole weekend on ancient Cyclops list and then I can quad from 51-60 quicker then most, so it’s not that scary to me- but I can imagine anyone playing a hybrid/full melee this is straight up terrifying to read if true and not exaggerated.

Leveled server first to 60 sk on green from 50-54 in HHK, then 55-60 in perma bear pits(hole didnt exist)

So Perma/Hole/HHK(you can solo basement chick as a warrior I'd think), Kedge is still solid until around 58 with mermaid/seahorse group.

Anyone listing any Kunark zone. The exp will take you forever IE look at yendors KC post.

To break it down. 2 lvl 55s trolls warrior and shmmy. 1 lvl 45 Dire wolf in perma = 224 kills

Same duo in kc a lvl 45 mob in KC = 445 kills...

Every kunark zone is awful for xp. Yes hole is overpacked, but groups there 24/7 and decent loot. Kedge/Perma is your best choices if you want 2 avoid hole.

maybe the best exp group is to group with a pharming level 60 enchanter if you offer that enchanter any utility at all and agree to let the enchy have all of the loot you can get on that EXP train.

If you're already uber rich on green, then fine...Hole it up.

If you're still on your first char wouldn't you want to make some money along the way to 60?

I always preferred making money and getting XP at the same time...especially at 55+
