Chris Miller, Donald Trump's acting defense secretary for his final days in office, admitted during a hearing at the Capitol yesterday that the President wanted to use the military to protect his supporters on January 6th instead of the military protecting members of Congress.
According to Mr Miller's testimony, Mr Trump asked whether the District of Columbia's mayor had requested National Guard troops for January 6, the day Congress was to ratify Joe Biden's presidential election victory.
The former defence secretary testified that Mr Trump told him to "fill" the request and "do whatever is necessary to protect demonstrators that were executing their constitutionally protected rights".
Mr Miller's remarks were made during a contentious hearing held by the House Oversight Committee, which is investigating security failures in the days leading to and during the riot.
Democrat politician Carolyn Maloney, who chairs the committee, asked why National Guard troops did not arrive until hours after the building was overrun.
Mr Miller testified that the US military was deliberately restrained that day when Mr Trump's rally turned into an assault by hundreds of his followers that left five dead, including a Capitol Police officer.
Mr Miller said he was concerned in the days before January 6 that sending National Guard troops to Washington would increase fears of a military coup or that Trump advisers were advocating martial law.
Five people were killed when rioters stormed the Capitol, trying to stop Congress certifying Mr Biden's election victory.
Welp, there you have it. Totally not planned. Totally not pulling the strings behind the scenes to use the military as a weapon against its own people. Whoopsie.

Has nothing to do with politics. Its a crime thread. I cant help that the guy happened to be a politician.
Isnt that shocking? The commander and chief said "yeah, protect the rioters, the criminals, and the violent people." over protecting the people doing their jobs in that building.
I guess nobody can tell you "this is kind of a big deal". The guy whos in charge of the military said "use it on the police and anyone resisting the wave of violent criminals".
If Obama did that, or Hillary... jesus christ. People would be losing their minds. It would be hearings and trials for the next decade. Since its rape hands, meh. Just politics.

Imagine if the capitol wasn't 200 years old, but it was 2000 years old, and then imagine the capitol it was built on was 3000 years older than that and then imagine after the capitol was stormed the people that stormed it shot rockets at the people who didn't storm it and visa versa.
Look at where we're at now, and then imagine where we'd be if that's where we started on jan 6th :o

Trump asked for troops to do 'whatever was necessary' to protect demonstrators who went on to storm the Capitol. (https://www.businessinsider.com/trump-wanted-troops-to-protect-supporters-at-capitol-says-miller-2021-5)
Christopher Miller told the House Oversight and Reform Committee that he held a meeting with Trump on January 3, three days before the violent siege in Washington, DC. Miller said that Trump asked at the meeting if there had been any requests for National Guard support at the "Stop the Steal" rally on January 6, where Trump and his supporters would gather to make allegations of voter fraud in November's presidential election.
He said that Trump then ordered Miller to fulfill Bowser's request and told him to "do whatever was necessary to protect the demonstrators that were executing their constitutionally protected rights."

Yeah it was safe to assume that counter-protestors were going to show up and start some shit
Have you seen the insane brawls that broke out in Portland between Proud Boys and Antifa? Not sure if they are still up on YouTube but I saw some huge clashes with homemade weapons that look straight medieval. At work atm so can’t check now
I was telling my conservative and liberal friends that it was going to be a war. I would personally never be at such a scene. Politics is not worth it. But surprisingly, very few counter protestors showed up in this incident. But that’s definitely NOT how previous right-wing protests have gone. I’m sure you would agree that liberals outnumber conservatives AND even, liberals willing to fight over their politics still probably outnumber conservatives

It’s not a “take”. It’s a simple fact. I can promise you that is exactly what Trump was thinking when he asked for national guard protection for his protestors

Like the military is just going to go “sack the capital sir? Roger that!”
Cause there’s no such thing as a Democrat in our military. Aren’t you one of those liberals who argue that conservatives’ fears of the military being turned on them as justification to keep assault weapons for protection is stupid, because a military made up of people of various political backgrounds and faiths wouldn’t be willing to massacre their own citizens?
Cause I hear liberals make that argument often. And it’s not a bad argument
But by all means, if our military can be weaponized against citizens, then we probably do need assault weapons

“ Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund will resign effective Jan. 16, before President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration, according to a police spokesperson. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell asked for and received the resignation of Senate Sergeant-at-Arms Michael Stenger effective Thursday. And Speaker Nancy Pelosi said that House Sergeant-at-Arms Paul Irving will be resigning after the Capitol was overrun Wednesday by a pro-Trump mob that even some Republicans are calling "domestic terrorists."”

Yeah it is curious, especially since you said the national guard was meant to be an escort to assist in sacking the capital? Lol it’s hard to even type that without laughing at the r absurdity of it. “Sack the capital sir? Sure thing? You want me to shoot the senators too? Aye aye captain!” Lolol
But let’s find out the real reason, using 5 seconds on Google (first result):
“Simply put, the National Guard only shows up to D.C. when they’ve been invited, and the Capitol Police did not extend that invitation until after the breach, according to a source with knowledge of the process, who was not authorized to speak about it on the record”
Wow it looks like the people who got fired for fucking up, namely the capital chief of police, had the responsibility to ask for the national guard and didn’t? They should fire that guy! Oh wait, they already did

Was the event gross and embarrassing? Yes.
Was it an insurrection? No.
Could Trump have used more forceful language to cool the temperature of that day? Yes.
I'm going to just say this in bold: it was a riot, not an insurrection, and not a particularly violent riot at that.
I wish I had saved the youtube video of Jake Angeli in the Senate. He literally walks in, the cops guide him to his photo op, and he walks out. There was no shooting. The whole day was a gigantic PR stunt. The best I can do is this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfgowkfQ1Rk), I guess.
Or maybe watch this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE7terSDSTo). The narrator is doing their absolute best to make you panic, and yet it's obvious the actual people were just chillin. It was a protest march at best.

K add it to all the other incidents of right wing terrorism within that year then. I’m all for doing a side by side tally
“But those police shooting rioters weren’t all BLM”. Yeah maybe not. But they were almost entirely black. And according to statistics: “Overall, 87% of black voters identify with the Democratic Party or lean Democratic” (source: https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2016/09/13/2-party-affiliation-among-voters-1992-2016/)

Which is why the argument that Trump (or any leader) was planning on weaponizing the military against citizens or the capital is silly
And it’s also a way to dismantle the conservative argument that assault rifles and high tech military weapons are necessary to protect themselves from a corrupt future leader turning the military on citizens. That’s their main justification for needing them for self defense
While that scenario COULD I guess occur because it has in the past at various points in history, the scenario is really really unlikely now
If I was in the military, and Trump said “I order you to kill all the democrats”, I would say “I have an order for you sir, go fuck yourself”. I want democrats to live peacefully as FAR away from me as possible. I don’t want them dead. And regardless of whether it was a Republican or Democrat or whoever ordering the military to mass kill civilians, so many military members would quit on the spot there wouldn’t be enough room in all the military prisons in the country for all of them. Not only would tons quit, a lot of those would likely join the other side that isn’t calling for genocide and now it’s like “oops now you’re outnumbered. So that was a stupid idea to turn the military on citizens now wasn’t it?”
So that argument of “we need protection from our own military” is kinda weak, I’ve always thought. That being said, I stand to inherit an expensive and tricked out assault rifle from my dad, so banning them would make me sad

Oh, I want to play! This down play game.
A group of alt right yelling lynch the GOP Vice President, seen on camera, escaping with the nuclear football one room away from the mob being lured away.
“No investigation needed.. move along maybe there is a pizza place down the road with supposed chain children in the basement you all can storm to enact alt right justice there.”
Ah Qanon those wacky trouble makers. Let’s all downplay it! And force out anyone who disagrees in the party!
Botten, how about you watch this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE7terSDSTo) of the so-called insurrection? Turn the sound off so you don't have to listen to the newswoman telling you how to think. Just watch the actual people.
They are all hanging out! Just look at their body language. 95% of them are on their phones taking selfies! They show a picture of a guillotine . . . and a guy climbing on it making sure his camcorder has a nice close-up of the rope! There is a beautiful photo that I wish I had saved. It shows Jake Angeli, the Q-anon shaman, standing in the Senate Chamber. On the balcony, directly over him, is a photographer taking a picture from above. It was a PR operation.
Now watch the video again with sound on and realize how utterly ridiculous the anchor and her 'expert' are. Did you know that in 1971 an actual bomb went off in the US capitol and did $300,000 worth of damage. Bill Clinton pardoned Susan Rosenberg (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Susan_Rosenberg) on his final day in office.

I think the lack of original ideas and actual policies make it so the right wingers are bombarded with the same idea, no plural needed, day in and day out and after a while, it's tough, not to believe the shit you are being repeated over an over.
It makes them prone to think and believe lies.
At first, it was antifa doing a criminal insurrection.
Now it wasn't an insurrection, it was just a regular day.
Well they tried the antifa shit it did not work.
But people seem to believe the second option.
Throw some shit at the wall until it sticks.
Then work that shit out.
And then when people wonder why the room they in is full of shit, tell them it is because of "the other side" who are not american, not like you, want to burn the country down and rape your wives.

I can laugh at lib comedy. A truly good comic can make fun of anything, and nothing should be sacred or off-limits. This is why I greatly respect the south park creators, who I recently found out are actually left leaning. They make fun of both sides, and are actually consistently funny about it
Here a satire statement on police bias. Normally I should be “rabble rabble back the blue! Rabble rabble, cops aren’t racist!” But it’s funny, so I don’t say anything. That’s how comedy should go
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iF6Wz7rypdU
Well I get it, but comedy is also conservatives being pro-life about women's body but pro-choice about vaccines.
Doesn't have to be in a sketch.
It's real life.
Or that fucking Republican congressman who denied there was an insurrection and likened Capitol rioters to tourists was photographed barricading the chamber doors against them (https://www.businessinsider.com/gop-rep-who-called-capitol-rioters-tourists-photographed-barricading-house-2021-5?utm_source=reddit.com)
Or let's say, Hilary not being locked up and Mexico who to this date, still has never paid a cent for the wall.
But hey, if a badly drawn frog make you resonate with politics, what do I have to say.
(unless that frog leads you to tikki marches, right?)
P.S: south park creator are libertarians. They make fun of everything but not everything.
the hunt trailer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sowGYbxTPgU&ab_channel=UniversalPictures) this movie is about liberal elites kidnapping conservatives to hunt them an it plays tropes on both side and it is actually funny but if you are left, like me, you feel like the movie ahs a lot of alt-right feel to it yet if you are an actual alt-right, like my friend, he'll think it's a leftist's movie. (although he will not argument very well about it)
What I am trying to say is it is very easy to think South Park is in the middle, like center but it really is not.
It will be very on point about laughing at the left but then side step right wing issues.
To make it center, you would need to laugh at the left as much as he right and we all now it isn't the case.
Now, does that make south park bad?
Man I grew up on that, I religiously watch all episodes.
Let's just be honest, even though if we are, south park is one of the good shows to poke fun at both sides but one side, more.
(and that is ok)

It’s just like these ridiculous diversity quotas. Instead of fixing representation by doing a combination of discriminating against a certain race and pushing through barely or unqualified candidates of another race, instead the better approach would be to figure out a way to inspire interest in a particular field within a particular community. Because not all communities of people have similar job interests. Some communities are either not aware of, or not interested in, particular fields. So work with the community to foster interest. What if states choose not to require an ID to vote?
Matt, please do my research for me. Sigh, ok
Edit: oops I thought u were asking which states don’t require an ID to vote
https://worldpopulationreview.com/state-rankings/voter-id-laws-by-state
States like CA allow, in lieu of a state ID, either any form of picture ID which can be things as easy to get as a library card or gym card, or in lieu of that, 2 forms of mailing verification, which can be things like a power bill
Democrats politicians have always taken the stance of “by requiring state ID to vote, you are suppressing disadvantaged populations who either, due to a lack of transport or education or having English as their native language, struggle to get an official state ID. So it is discriminatory to require an ID to vote”
Ok, how about we make it easier for them to get an ID then?

By requiring only things like 2 forms of bills via mail, you are making it much easier for someone who is undocumented to vote. Or just for people to cheat in general by faking an identity or using someone else’s. Which does occur, believe it or not. Not on the scale Trump claimed, but it does most definitely occur. And the ones caught, like any crime, are the tip of the iceberg compared to the ones doing the crime

They have a right to vote, but requiring an official state ID to vote is simply a more secure system than not. There is no denying this. I understand why states offer alternatives, but these undeniably make it easier to cheat, on a factor based on how lax these requirements are
To offer a flip side of the coin, the thing that system does well, is penalize cheating: “ harsh criminal penalties, including up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000 for citizens and possible deportation for non-citizens”
No if’s and’s or butt’s about it, that is a stiff penalty. That alone will dissuade a lot of motive to cheat. But security is still important

The penalty for casting an illegal ballot is pretty heavy. Laws already exist and the only people ive seen casting fraudulent ballots are trump supporters and he lost. Doh... I guess you dont realize what you're doing. Dont cry when you have the lowest turn out ever.
Watch, this is fuck over their own voters so hard. Its going to be hilarious. I'm sure all those retirement communities are going to love the new regulations. lolol Better hope grandma can stand in line for 12 hours to drop off her ballot lol. Thats like 50% of republicans.

How many instances of identity theft fraud occurred in CA in 2016? How about inheritance claim fraud?
Turns out not newsworthy news is not newsworthy. Where can I find a list of all the perpetrators of all different possible crimes in CA? Show me where that list is and I’ll find the section on voting while ineligible
Turns out crime happens and the only ones YOU tend to hear about are funneled through the lens of “what is the perpetrator’s skin color? What is the victim’s skin color” and only a very specific kind of news emerges

Lets steal an identity, then go sign my name, get fingerprints all over a ballot that aint mine, go put my face on camera, go get a fake ID made... jesus christ. for ONE vote... why wouldnt you just steal money??? Thats so fucking stupid. You'd have to change their address to your address, then apply for the ballot, receive it, lolol so fucking stupid.

My internet security program is crappy. It’s a free version that’s 5 years out of date. It hardly catches any trogans. This means hardly any trogans are out there
right wingers: can't trust the government, they all corrupt drain the swamp!
also right wingers: well if only they all got ID with their present addresses and all pertinent information about them. It's not like we already use every tool we have to make racism systemic so why don't they get ID?!
in my country, it is very easy to have a government ID: you have a health card you show to access free healthcare services.
Other than that, an official government ID looks like... a driver license or a fucking passport.
Do you folks have different options?
I don't own a fucking car so why should I get a driver license and I don't plan on travelling soon so why should I have a thing that expires in two years?
Do you not see why a lot of people, democrats voter who don't own a fucking car because we live in cities where rolling coal isn't really a good idea, think this is stupid?
Right wingers: Elon Musk is right let's colonize mars, we have the technology.
Also right wingers: wait you can't vote without a piece of paper with a picture on it!
Better idea (not): why not create a big database of voters with their face id on the database and you can just scan everyone as they come, no id needed.
Sounds great? Nothing to hide, nothing to fear bruv.

Flawless logic.
It's a bit like there was massive voter fraud so wide and obvious and everyone knows about it yet nobody can produce a shred of evidence to prove it.
Which prove it is real voter fraud.

It’s generally a good idea to have. Which is why it baffles me why I have never once heard a liberal politician say we need to make it easier for everyone to get an ID
It’s required to:
Buy alcohol
Buy cigarettes
Open a bank account
Apply for social services
Apply for federal health insurance
Apply for unemployment or a job
Rent/buy a house
Get legally married
Fly on an airplane
Buy a gun
Now those might not mean a lot to you guys, for some of us they really enhance the quality of life. Just the alcohol and the guns. Fuck the rest 😄

Oh, I mean, most democratic countries have figured out how to run election without scams for a while now but maybe the US is severely lagging behind?
I think virtually everyone agree that whatever it is human do, someone is going to cheat but do you know how difficult it would be to vote in person for different people, the time it would take you in a day and you would have swayed what, 4-5 votes in a day?
Voter fraud is very real, and we actually usually have evidence for it.
It's just never been on the scale you guys fetishizes about.
But if you want to believe that there was a fraud you cant prove because the Americans are just very bad at running free and fair elections, this is your prerogative.
All I know is that there is massive evidence the Russian interfered with the 2016 elections yet you refuse to debate that but you totally not planned to attack the capitol during a day 45 asked you to be there to fight like hell for your country because of voter fraud you cannot prove.

I'll let you in on a secret: there are hell of a lot smarter people than we, out there.
Because you don't know how doesn't mean humans don't know how.
So uhm, basically, here is how you find out about things, welcome to grade 8 science class.
Make an observation.
Ask a question.

Make a prediction based on the hypothesis.
Test the prediction.
Iterate: use the results to make new hypotheses or predictions.

Mail in voting will never be as secure as in person voting. That's why mail in voting on a scale even remotely this large didn't exist in the USA pre-covid. Even by democrats it was seen as a necessary risk, because they viewed the health risk of in person voting as greater (or so they claimed, I agree to disagree with them on this one)

I'll let you in on a secret: there are hell of a lot smarter people than we, out there.
Because you don't know how doesn't mean humans don't know how
So are we relying on the "people smarter than I created these systems to enforce our laws, therefore they have no potential failings" explanation?
So we can apply this concept to the use of lethal force?
Oh, and capital punishment?
I mean people like to armchair critique the fuck out of those, but if law enforcement is a bunch of smartie scientist types, then they probably are getting everything else right too
Then it is all on your honor, I salute you.
I am wrong often, and will not fight when I am and I'm glad you reviewed your position, a bit. Your example was very good.
If a computer is the parameter, the virus doesn't want to be found but you can find it.
Because you know what a clean computer looks like.
I think, and this is what experts seem to agree with, which is why I think that, that the biggest risk in mail-in voting is that your vote does not get counted for a myriad of administrative reasons.
There are serious safeguards that are remarkably easy to make to ensure the ballots are legit like serial numbers and what not, you now. We can do it for bank notes, and money is safe.
Again, the most probable thing that will happen if you vote by mail is that it is rejected for one of the many reasons it can be rejected for, like not being received on time, even if you mailed it in time and your signature not being 100% exactly like the one they have on file (which you know, it is fucking tough to do a signature the same, every time. "Real signatures are always slightly different and they differ every time. If the signatures are exact replica there is a very strong possibility of forgery. Difference between signatures increases proportionally with the complexity . Simple ones are less different from one another." ( why signing is different every time (https://scholarlycommons.law.northwestern.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=5014&context=jclc))
No studies, whether conducted in the US or anywhere else in the world, found that there was an increased voter fraud when using mail.
And it makes sense, it's a lot of work for one vote and states, with the first past the post like the US has, don'T swing all that much.
Can you imagine doing this incredible voter fraud that extend to mail fraud and a lot of jail time for one extra vote?
Five states - Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Utah and Washington - hold their elections primarily by mail and have documented almost no cases of cheating. Oregon, for instance, has sent out more than 100 million mail ballots since 2000 and reported around a dozen cases of proven fraud.
Basically, there is not a tons of ways you can do voter fraud so we kind of know where to check.
Basically, you get more chances of changing an election by partaking in it, convincing your friends to go out and vote, etc.
Also, the last 3 people in the US charged with voter fraud were republicans :(
Correlation is not causation but it does mean, if the topic interests you, that perhaps listening to republicans on this is not ideal.
And seeing the facts, stricter ID laws for voting won't affect fraud but it will affect turn out and let me just say one thing:
WE have like, no power.
The only power we have, is to choose so basically, the biggest amount of people who gets to choose is good. Anything that lessen voter turn out can be seen as antidemocratic if voting is the only power you wield.
Think about that.
So are we relying on the "people smarter than I created these systems to enforce our laws, therefore they have no potential failings" explanation?
So we can apply this concept to the use of lethal force?
Oh, and capital punishment?
I mean people like to armchair critique the fuck out of those, but if law enforcement is a bunch of smartie scientist types, then they probably are getting everything else right too
No, I literally meant that there are a lot of very smart people working on these problems.
To me, seeing johny the uneducated republican not knowing how shit works is not a representation of knowledge.
I don't fucking know how to fly the soyouz but I trust it works and that someone who does know how to pilot it will be able to take it back to earth safely.
Even if I could never do it.
I'm saying that I don't really know American laws surrounding voting and that some smart people are making sure that there is less and less fraud, every cycle.
A bit like money printed in 2021 have more security features on them than the money printed in 2010 because some smart people benched over how forgers forge it and how they can avoid that.
"Most powerful country on earth!"
Can't even run an election without fraud because no smart people at all work on election security during the off election cycles.
You tried to twist what I said.
I don't think the NSA knows about every terrorist on earth but everyday, a little more. Right?
To be fair though, I think removing these machines is the first thing that should be done.
All western countries, all democratic countries actually, use paper and pen and it works wonder and it leaves a clear paper trail.
Very hard to hack.
Not without problems, but if India can vote with paper and count he billion of votes in less than a day, USA needs to get a better grip.
Can't claim to be a functioning democracy if you don't even believe in the institutions that serves democracy, like election officials telling you there was no fraud.

You'll have to forgive me for not being filled with confidence in our system because 5 liberal state governments happened to not discover large amounts of evidence of what would be seen as a giant black eye on their voting procedure
also,
There are hardly any documented cases of female prostitutes being arrested. I conclude that this means there are hardly any female prostitutes in the USA (the real reason: police don't see it as a policing priority, due to most female prostitutes being victims themselves)
I hardly ever hear about people getting arrested for buying drugs off the dark web. Therefore, almost no one is buying drugs off the dark web (real reason: law enforcement still sucks at detecting it. But for all our advancements in cyber technology, good old unpatched, un-updated TOR is still > law enforcement)
And seeing the facts, stricter ID laws for voting won't affect fraud but it will affect turn out and let me just say one thing
So we should defer to the experts but this sounds like an expert assertation to me
Anything that lessen voter turn out can be seen as antidemocratic if voting is the only power you wield.
Think about that.
If we removed all security measures we would have the max amount of people voting. Therefore we shouldn't have any security measures if voter turnout is our sole priority. If having to write your name on your ballet feels like too much effort for 1 person, that rule just lessened voter turnout. So obviously we shouldn't be making blanket statements about voter turnout, but I do agree with the concept that lessening voter turnout on a large scale could be seen as anti-democratic

Sure, find me a list of all fraudulent votes of every state in the past 20 years, and I’ll find an example where a state could have been won by that margin. Oh is that too much work? Oh you have a life? Ditto

Show me one state, an entire state, won by the margin of the total number of fraudulent ballots in the past 20 years. Show me one county. Show me one race. Just one.
We get it. No matter what, it wont be good enough because daddy lost. We get it. Because you hold everything to that standard. 1 is too many, its all invalid. Got it. When you get a spec of dirt on your car, you buy a new car, right? When you get a particle of dirt on your floor, you throw away the entire floor. got it.
You know court cases dont last exactly 7 months. Everyone knows that. That would be a VERY speedy court case. They are charging the former president and you want it to be over in 7 months? I decline.

This is an interesting problem. As we've seen in the past, sufficiently close state elections usually end up being decided by the courts (notoriously Florida in 2000). You don't want your cheating to be TOO widespread because the odds of being caught rapidly increase as you involve more and more people.** Vote fraud would therefore work most effectively in a close-run election where the "cheating" side happens to be confident of controlling the relevant courts. In all probability such fraud would be more easily accomplished from the counting side rather from the ballot side.
**The near-impossibility of keeping hundreds or thousands of people quiet about something is why I usually reject large-scale conspiracies. There's always a snitch in any big group.

Considering I’m driving to work atm and lately it’s been an absolute shitshow at work because the number of depressed people, especially kids, seems to double every year, I wasn’t planning on it
I’m out for a while

Insurrectionists made no effort to hide their intentions, but law enforcement protecting Congress was caught flat-footed.

Police records show threats to kill lawmakers in wake of Capitol attack (https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2021/may/23/police-records-capitol-attack-lawmakers)
I don't know.
Joe Biden won't lose the next election and anyway, even if he does, all he has to do now is say he won and see where that takes him. If he still loses somehow, people can come to the capitol with weapon and bombs, apparently it's normal and business as usual and I don't think our republicans brothers and sisters will mind much since they are defending it now.
Republicans really found themselves, this year with yells of "my body my choice" and shit.
We don't give them enough credit for their progressiveness.

I hope he loses. We're gonna audit every single county, say he won, and get some cyber CYBORG ninjas to check for bamboo from south east asia. We'll go to court 60 times, lose, then say the judges were corrupt or someone was threatening the judges family to rule against us. (people actually say that, yes) Oh and we're gonna be unable to prove chain of custody of machines and ballots, then say we want the passwords to your personal pcs and all the pcs in the county. We need to check every record. Sound good? lol Dumb as fuck...
They did all of that.
Myanmarr looked at Trump two weeks before deciding that crazy is a good idea because dumb won't check and as long as dumb won't check, what can smart do?
Coincidentally, this is also why USA are a shitshow heading for the inevitable crumbling of the empire.

Mblake1981, on the daily: you are not American, go away.
Also Mblake1981, on the daily: whatever we touch is America.
Meanwhile, the rest of the world is pretty ok with the term American imperialism meaning,
"American imperialism consists of policies aimed at extending the political, economic and cultural influence of the United States over areas beyond its boundaries. Depending on the commentator, it may include military conquest, gunboat diplomacy, unequal treaties, subsidization of preferred factions, economic penetration through private companies followed by intervention when those interests are threatened, or regime change."
Weird that of everything I choose to say, you guys always get upset by the shit that makes the most sense.
Weird how you think that if your face is right in the problem, it's harder to see it yet believe that as a non American I probably know nothing about America.

They did get into the machines, and it's going to cost the taxpayers millions because election officials don't know what was done to them by the auditors. (https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/maricopa-county-will-need-new-voting-machines-after-gop-s-n1268090)

Imperialism is when free trade agreements.
If it were necessary to give the briefest possible definition of imperialism we should have to say that imperialism is the monopoly stage of capitalism. Such a definition would include what is most important, for, on the one hand, finance capital is the bank capital of a few very big monopolist banks, merged with the capital of the monopolist associations of industrialists; and, on the other hand, the division of the world is the transition from a colonial policy which has extended without hindrance to territories unseized by any capitalist power, to a colonial policy of monopolist possession of the territory of the world, which has been completely divided up.
