New UN Requirement for Blue

Vindi is no longer the bar for participation in the UN / Raid scene. Now, you must be able to kill Sontalak or Vyemm on your own. All others are relegated back to the casualness from whence you came.

Its not "going to happen" that's the way it is already unless they revert it. Its the same velious as blue with minor tweaks like turning on beads in the loot table temporarily. Just like blue had the hole zem increase before the zone released on green, and like red has rooted dragons too despite it being pointless there.

DPS is the in-game mechanic after all. Not the player or player's group who gets FTE. I think it's ridiculous FTE ever became a thing. FTE is a mechanic in WoW not EQ.

Allegedly..

A story I heard was that back in the day, before FTE messages became a thing on live, "the fastest jav in the west" was the go to method. I.E, you flop under statue, jav it, raid guild kills the mob, you petition that they KS'd you, you were first person to agro, the GM's gave you the loot.

I can't attest to that but it's a story I heard more than once.


Also in my 6 years of raiding p99 blue i've woken up to a bat phone exactly 0 times. Thank you, insomnia.
