They lost their main writer who was also the voice of Scooter before the end of BL2, and it's just not the same.

BL3 feels like mostly meaningless quests for meaningless people to me for the few hours I played it.

i never bought/played B3. i bought Bl1 the week it was released and got BL2 pre-release.

TPS was a different developer studio. They're closed now IIRC.

For TPS, some of the new mechanics (oz butt slam) were interesting. Lazers were pretty meh. The story had flaws, but the entire thing had zero replayability.

Game gets to the point of being pointless unless you buy a vault full of hacked weapons from a shady guy on the internet. Game was fun when you could make game breaking builds. Imagine putting out a single player game and then nerfing shit so you can release dlc. Disgusting.

Borderlands 2 was and is fucking amazing. It's hilarious and a ton of fun to play even still after beating it numerous times. True Vault Hunter mode also adds some real challenge again.

10/10 would buy again!
