Considering less than 2% of the population has it, I’d say to have even 2 friends diagnosed means you would’ve had to spend some time making new friends in a psych hospital, and the hospitals discourage exchanging numbers and staying in contact after discharge (although it happens all the time)

I had one. His parents must have had him on some sort of medication though because no one had any idea until after high school, when I presume he had free agency to stop taking them if he wanted. Looking back now, he was a pretty funny guy, and he would occasionally do like funny voices and stuff...
