Why Iksar monks technically superilr to human monks?

I'll tell you why Iksar Monks were gifted special treatment over Human Monks by the devs: if they weren't then nobody would play them.

Women already don't play them (Cabalis is a sausagefest compared to Neriak) and the dudes who play women don't play them either.

It's just the 'min-max' brigade playing Iksar.

Humans don't even get a racial yet people still play and love them.

I bet you any money human monks are more skilled and dedicated than Iksar monks.

Here is a toast to humans which the devs trashed yet people still play them both ingame and IRL.

xp penalty doesnt matter when you're 60. Fist damage and delay dont either once you get raid loot. Ikkie ac and regen are forever.

I remember reading somewhere that humans were originally supposed to get the +5% exp bonus, but it was accidently given to halflings. Would have made sense, but eh.

I just picked human because it seemed the most unique of all the wizard races. All the wizards I see are mostly either DEs or gnomes.

seems like the 'meta' class/race combos attract more bad players than off-meta, most ogre warriors i've grouped with have been clueless whereas halfling/gnome warriors are generally quite good

Only applies to males though. Spooky nunzilla and chunky battlemistresses don’t tend to be as bad as their male counterparts.

Knowing that wizards got nightvision spells later kind of gave me the courage to roll a human. I dunno if I'd do that for any other class that didn't get the same. xD

On Live being an Erudite Shadowknight sucked until level 22.

I rolled Erudite Cleric on P99. The nightblindness is pretty rough, but it's surmountable.
