Friends!

In my ongoing efforts to reduce toxicity on this server I’d like to propose a new pass time:

Wouldn’t this server be more fun, more morale, and healthier if we all took a moment to recognize the good plays made by our competition? To publicly honor a worthy opponent?

The rules are simple:

1) the nominee must be from a competing guild - one who actually contests the same content your guild targets - and not one you regularly team with.

2) no back handed compliments. Let’s be uplifting for a moment here!!

So here goes!

I’d like to nominate Apathe from Kittens.

Comments like this. Along with other classics like “Faydrdar was up”. Are great in a way that’s hard to explain - Bravo Good Sir!

Honorable mention for me goes to another commenter. I couldn’t find the post. So I can’t narrow down the poster. But someone responded to a thread I started with

“Thanks for crashing Bitcoin Jutebox!”

Got me good! Got me real good!

Wyze and Katinna, both in Vanquish, are good folks.

Lol I love that you say recognize good plays then you immediately provide 2 examples of forum posts (forum posts which you could argue also constitute back handed compliments). You heard it here first people, Grumph doesn't care about what happens in game and the only "good plays" happen on the forums apparently. You couldn't even follow your own rules, seek help.

Not exactly what you're looking for, I realize, but a Vanquish shaman (who's name I don't remember /facepalm) took a solid 30+ minutes out if his evening a month or two back to help me turn in a Kael faction BP. I now have a much better understanding of how to do that quickly, but at the time I had no idea - he was super cool about a "quick" favor turning into a pretty prolonged ordeal for a total stranger.

I wish I'd written down his name because I owe him a big solid!!

Exactly the spirit of the thread as intended!

Thank you for your contribution - you Sir are a Gentleman and a Scholar!
