So, as the title says, just dropped through the boat in TD right at the FV zoneline, but I can't zone without the boat, any ideas?

Gate, or swim to shore :(

This happened to me @ Level 8, with swimming skill of 1 >.< Took a while, needless to say to reach land.

Unfortunately, you wont be able to get to FV since you wont be able to get onto the boat, but you're able to ride the Barge to OT or take the Barrel Barge to Oasis.

Bit of an aside, but if you're waiting for the boat going TO Overthere you can position yourself on the edge of the pier/dock and the boat will sweep you away with it when it arrives.

Saves sitting there watching the waves :)

Go to eq atlas look up TD, there is a dock where the boat stops and you can get back on.....if you fall off when a boat is not moving any other time you can ride the bow or rudder.

-5000, -3000 is where you need to head.

make a /loc button and increase that swim skill.

Wouldn't this fall under the "character issue needing immediate resolving" category and therefore qualify for /petition?

I don't know, I petitioned it and waited about 20 minutes or so, but it was late so I had to log. I did make it to the island but I didn't have time to wait for the boats.

I play on evenings JPN standard time so I doubt there's a gm even playing at my time.

There are definitely guides or GMs on late night, I play JPN time too and I've gotten the help I needed. Not always instant though.

Ya, just because you're not bound at firepots does not make them useless. I take advantage of firepots all the time on my bard. Honestly, fire pots are not as far as people make them out to be, and in your case where you were already waiting 20min for a boat, you probably could have been more productive with those 20min by swimming to the pots.

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing. - Thomas Jefferson
