I gotta hand it to Randytrevor, dude knew what he was doing. Posted up in Rivervale which is generally the hub of a lot of folks bound at the firepots who want the quickest bank and druid port. Dude wouldn't be famous if he'd done this in Halas or Erudin.

Whenever I afk on live or p99 I get logged out eventually, how do some people stop that from happening?

I cannot be afk overnight and expect to be logged in its like 100% chance Ill be on the char select screen.

Early in his career he told me he plays on a big screen TV and has multiple other TVs streaming games/movies. He's got a chill ass set up and just keeps the game running in the background. If I had that setup i'd probly do the same.

This just changed the game. Randytrevor is a huge POS apparently! Lol at saying OP did something wrong because RT walked into an area of the zone and got killed by a mob who he didn't think should be in that area.

Also lol at someone who complains about an accidental train. That stuff happens in classic EQ. Unless it was intentional or someone otherwise did it several times because they kept making mistakes it's not something to yell at someone over.

As if people even take the time to save these exchanges... when I used to farm guards I would get trained by other evil characters pathing from the bank all the time. It's part of the game, whatever. This one particular time I noticed someone else's pet clearing the rotation in my combat log so when I stepped out from the tunnel to investigate I immediately get killed by Roglio in the open area in front of the bank and Fool's Gold. I follow up with a /who of Rivervale and a gnome mage shows in the query, unfortunately I can't recall his name because I don't neurotically save a copy of every negative interaction I have in video games. I send him a tell and he doesn't respond, so I ask a guildmate of his I was vaguely familiar to get in touch with him. The guildmate asked some clarifying questions to which I specifically stated although I didn't actually witness him train me, due to the circumstances it seemed suspicious and I know pet classes often ruin the bank guard pull behind Deputy Percin getting agro from the warrior GM too. It seems the guildmate expertly conveyed that information.

Besides, that whole conflict was between ME, YOU and THE OTHER GUY. The whole "don't accuse me of doing stuff that I don't do to you or anybody else." theatrics are better served in glee club. Go on though, slander my good name... but I've lined the pockets of many young halflings with spears and shields, given away fortunes, inspired good will, captured imaginations and sparked intrigue! You're too busy cataloging conversations by order of how slighted someone made you feel, and that's why you don't have what it takes to hang in Rivervale. Absolutely pathetic! Here's your five minutes of fame, wretched gnome.

Even giving him the benefit of the doubt he didn't know the guards were camped I find it highly unlikely that in such a small window of opportunity between me dying and spawning in Freeport the actual culprit managed to zone out and escape my /who. Someone's Jabober was mowing guards even as I was cut down in my prime, my only regret is not doing a /who beforehand for a screenshot and delicious expose via forums.

It's not "business as usual" when the GM warrior wanders from the guild, in fact, it never happened to me before. A /who needs to be done at the very least to let someone know I'm camping the guards, if you prefer to limp-wrist your way through conflicts, oh well. The guy quite literally censored his own name from the bottom of the screenshot, and despite me remembering who it was that's not what's important. I think I'm entitled to defend myself here. Especially since from my perspective this guy zoned in, took my camp, got me killed, ignored me, then later claimed he was AFK there the whole time. Potentially the whole thing could be misunderstanding. Maybe I didn't notice him in zone several hours before the incident and he got unwarranted flak, but someone definitely took my camp and got me killed by inadvertently pulling the GM warrior.

That actually sounds pretty reasonable. I don't know what the PnP is nor the guidelines established within it. I just learned from others what the camp was, what order to pull the guards in, etc. If someone was clearing them I would ask how long they planned to be there and others would often do the same for me. It's a relatively friendly and transparent community. The times I did get trained and killed people would message me and apologize before I even noticed, sometimes even offering to find me a rez. I understand the risks of being in a zone where everything aggros you, it's unfortunate. I was under the impression at the time this guy moved in on my camp and made a dangerous pull (the smaller races look through the wall behind Deputy Percin/Olo and pull the two guards INSIDE the bank via pet sometimes pulling Roglio) that got me killed and proceeded to ignore me. The trio of losing camp, getting killed and being ignored was upsetting and I'll concede I come off pretty aggressive in that chat log but a lot of other context was lost in a game of telephone with his guildmate. Like I said before it's possible the entire thing was a misunderstanding on my part. If it really wasn't you Blingy then I truly apologize for being such an arsehole, it must have seemed really random and combative, but as far as I'm concerned the rest of you can piss off. As if no one here has had any moments that could be subject to ridicule if put under a microscope.
