Raided with Dragon Council for a little over a year during planes of power on my ranger Vindikael. Some fun memories..

-When the legends server hit and the exodus from some of the top players left, Prophecy was in shambles.
-Rumors that Raak lived in a castle in some some european country.

Quickly became a wizard "Jeck Danniels"(wiz) and later been "Troobadix Blackmetal" (bard), played in Prophecy for a sadly short time and been with PR too. And where the hell is my pic of Raak's EQ-desk with his 6 Monitors !?!?! OMG I know i had that screenshot somewhere :P

I remember Johnnyx as the coolest looking Halfy War up to date :-) gotta love the look of indicolite mixed with some red chest or pants AND a few cobalt items. !!

A RL friend of mine was Malakeyi being leader of the Dragon Council :-)

I remember Anad Al'ban being my mentor in the bardic stuff in the early days. We all cheered forever when he got his epic back then :-)

I can't believe how many people from DC there are on here!!!!!

I was named Galiden (barbarian SHM) and I played with my dad named Torkild (Barb ROG) from about 2000-2006. We both raided with DC from POP to OoW, when I quit (game was totally ruined by GoD). I actually remember a lot of these names. And yes, Callius (RNG) was leader of DC for a while. I actually met him at a fanfaire in Chicago along with some other guildies, like Rukagaku (female ogre warrior) and Crystara (female barbarian warrior), who were our two main tanks for the time I was with them. Both of them were dudes irl, hahaha.

Started on Bertoxx the first few days the server was live and, aside for a few breaks for RL, DAoC, and a couple of other servers like SZ and Stromm, played pretty consistently till DoN when they offered the free movelog with the merges and I moved my bazillion toons to The Nameless. So that's April 99 to June-ish 05 I think?

Bunch of RL friends and I had a classic era guild called The Vigilant that changed to Unified Souls during Kunark. My crew from the early days were my friends Brynne (RL friend from college, been gaming together for literally 20 years), Guidainn/Solorun, his wife Kyarwen (several games since EQ with those guys), and Bloodpaw/Qwyck (couple of games since EQ with him) among others. Pretty much became an alts guild and most of us had our mains in Forsaken Conclave and a few of them went on to Prophecy at various points. I was juggling mains the first few years of the game so aside from some dragon and planes runs I did not raid, nor did I go with my friends to FC. Actually, had I not rerolled a couple of times early on, I would have apped Divine where most of my in-game friends were beyond the ones listed above...Nothing personal to anyone, but besides my friends being in FC I was never really crazy about anyone else I ever met from that guild so I was looking at Divine instead. Actually, I think I was about a week out with the SK when I heard they had disbanded. Speaking of Divine, I met Prot, Twonk and Twonk's wizzy GF (whose name escapes me now) at like 20 in lake rathe and we played together for years including other games. Last talked to them around the time WoW released, which I absolutely hated and not sure we've been in touch since although I want to say there was a drunken call at some point since then. lol. Can't believe that's been 9 years now. Played a lot of EQ since then even.

Brynne moved with me to The Nameless and we were knee deep there for several years. Raided pretty much Luclin thru DoDh before I quit and Brynne raided thru PoR before he quit, I think. He had kids and we got xboxes not long after so when we game that's pretty much what we do now. I've never been sucessful at getting any of those guys to give p99 a try, which is a bummer.

I've recently gone back to live and I still play the Rogue, SK and Shammy casually boxing but on EMarr/The Nameless where some of the people I raided with 5+ years ago still play.

Anyway, that's pretty much my story with Bertoxx.

In another lifetime I was Talgurin / Bertox (65 war), who I started playing in 1999. I remember I was in DOA and would raid with them around Velious / Luclin era. There was also a guild Crimson Horde, I remember I was like second-in-charge of that guild for a while before everyone went separate ways. I quit sometime after PoP, but came back for a while in time for Omens of War, which I really enjoyed (awesome zones), but then left for good after scrawny gnolls started dropping better gear than the stuff I used to raid for :-)

As an epilogue, I did come back to live with new characters, including Crell (75 ranger) on Bertox. I started 3 boxing with mercenaries and was surprised how EQ Live, despite its problems, is still supremely better than WoW / EQ 2.

However, I never participated much on the server at that point... All of the best memories were guild politics and friends versus single player EQ.

Sorry if I left a negative impression, I honestly don't remember though... in fact I don't remember having to boot anyone from a raid, but I wasn't usually in charge of raid organizing. My role was more in the realm of tactics, coordination and execution.

I'd love to see the screenshot though :). We had another enchanter in the guild with an extremely similar name to mine but a completely different person as well, but I don't think she was in charge of any raids.
