We only ask that you try to keep pvp flagged
You can flag/unflag at will in qeynos with the priest of order and discord!
You respect all of the players of green99. And their unique and individual choices.
Put some points into charisma.
You try not to twink or use OP gear.
Use a rubi instead of a fungi in pvp.
Try not to discriminate against people with rusty weapons, buy them a sharpening stone or forge them a new one!
If you have an instant click COS and the other guy doesn't have see invis or pumice, after killing them a few times give them a chance :p


I will primarily be playing early in the mornings. Can't promise playtimes, I will be on some times tho :)

I definitely support this. I've taken to it from a roleplay perspective, myself. I don't really go out looking for people, though, and probably won't outright go out of my way to fight anyone unless the situation calls for it thematically (like they're a Good Paladin and realize I worship Bertoxxulous).

I mean, those who flag for PvP only affect others who do, and there's no loss except time. It definitely adds to the immersion of a truly living, breathing Norrath.

I suspect you can't coin loot here so PvP on green is less about killing for greed and harm and more about RP. That and no YellowText which I agree with. Scoring points is fun, it's not as fun, though when you have two highly competitive teams. I'm never keeping track of K:D tho.

I think I only ever killed two playercharacters on red 99 and I felt horrible for days afterwards. I do like the option of going non pvp for those days I really can't...

I always help my friends if they are getting pvpd though. And I do enjoy a good ambush, chase through the zone when someone spots me. It always makes the game a lot more meaningful when people group with me and we join forces. Not because there's really no choice and we are basically fighting the same mobs anyway. There's an extra element of brotherhood, sisterhood. And collective protection from the other dangers and player killers. I would call myself an antipk, more like a diplomat though, I never chase after PKs and sometimes I help them if I'm grouped with them. So antipk is a little too strict for me too lol.

Aye, there's no corpse looting, no coin looting and no EXP loss. So there's not really any loss, thankfully. Someone asked me why I didn't kill another red on sight the other day, and I had to explain that sometimes it behooves my god for things to live so that they may spread fester and rot. It's much more enjoyable when there's a good reason. Because the RP element of PvP always makes it more immersive in my opinion.

There is a mild caveat to that: If someone /duel's you, then you're able to. So you choose one person to share kindness to, and basically tell the rest to fend for themselves. Being an evil character in roleplay through and through, it's that precise reason I do so! Muahaha~ Immersion!

I think we've roughly ten folks in <Misunderstood> now, and there's at least three others not in the guild I'm aware of. In two or so days, that's a definitely a nice turnout from where it was (0). <3 Once folks realize there's not much to lose and all the more unique a gameplay experience, they feel a bit more comfortable trying it out on their alts. What's so wrong with opt-in PvP on a server with no meaningful consequence for PvP and all the fun of it? I never played on Red, and I think it's great that people can see there's alternative means of having fun with EQ; this sort of thing I think has been a nice entry into it for some.

Someone worked really hard putting all those PoDs in to starting cities and writing pvp mechanics for children of chaos. I always wanted to do a child of chaos as part of a community, it is so cool it is finally happening after 20 years!!

Fight today was sorta 5v1 wasn't so sure the whole time.

I really didn't expect this to take off so well. It's awesome tho seeing others really take the ball and run with it.

As long as we respect the pve rules and people flagged blue, no reason not to basically have fun and randomly chill with pvp. No risk no reward. For me, being the underdog is everything. Being vulnerable and having a chance to win. Or just do some good damage or just surprise people. That's winning for me.

Kinda feeling guilty I can't put in the effort right now to do some real videography. Community building. I never expected to experience that fresh from scratch pvp again.

The time is now. It's now or never. C u folks again real soon :D maybe ill have pumice or snare next time ;)
