After char selection, nothing happens

Can't seem to get past selecting char and entering world. it just sits there and then knocks back to log in.

i just dropped in v54 patch files.


anything im missing?

Mine is really unstable too. Takes like four tries to get in. Then I crash on death or zoneing. Game is pretty messed up atm.

v55 is available. Is that what you are using?

You might know this already, but I forgot it until someone reminded me on another post; but running EQ in compatibility mode for Win XP service pack 3 is recommended. I had to reinstall and forgot about it.

You're not by chance trying to login to one of the zones that have the file issues are you? Like Nektulos, Lavastorm etc? Have you tried a different character or account?

okay, i have tried multi accounts and each server. red/blue/green.
but after picking char and entering world. it just freezes.
no loading bar! nothing.
i dont know where something might have gone wrong.
i am now on v55
