There's something unnatural about this emulated EC Tunnel

Back in the day players used to hunt and then go to the tunnel to buy/sell and while waiting around they would duel and chat in /ooc. I don't see any of that in this tunnel. I see bots that don't move for days with ripoff prices. It's really no different than the bazaar on live. Nowadays SIM cards and scripts are widely available but they weren't back in 1999.

I noticed it right away that something was missing and it's real players doing real things.

What? What we want is an actual classic server. Blue was...not. Green was...not and in many ways even more ridiculius than blue at launch.

There can be very little nostaliga had without a dev that cares to make some shit properly classic, fix all the missing classic mechanics, resists, aggro, npc difficulty.

Plus since you can have one character logged on per server I have no doubt in my mind people are trying to sell something on blue to nobody meanwhile being around people on green

EC tunnel on green is pathetic. You get the guild handmedown items they want too much for, combined with 800 shit items from classic that get spammed all the time, that nobody wants. Good luck finding anything good in Green EC unless you overpay 25%+

I don't recall the tunnel being full of lowbies selling high level stuff with names like 'megadeals' and 'eqmart'.

The other day a bot account was selling a spell and quoted me 2kpp.

Then a high level player zoned in and auctioned the same spell and he quoted me 300pp and I knocked him down to 200pp. He said I got a good deal because he paid 300pp for his but things devalue and I felt we both got a fair deal.

This bot guy who tried to rip me is spaming WTB mana stone epic MQ's, all sorts. He must be loaded from ripping off newbs.

My friends and I are always dueling in the tunnel whenever we get a chance but nobody ever wants to outside of our little group, i've tried many times with random people. One of my favorite memories were all the epic fights between the warriors and monks back in the day.

And I personally hate selling stuff too. So anytime I’m in EC selling my cheap stuff I always go below half the wiki price. If I don’t get multiple tells immediately I feel like I’ve done something wrong
