Help with triggerd Faydedar

I'm just coming back to EQ after several years off, and Azure Guard seems to have disbanded, and I am functionally guildless at the moment. Are any adventurers interested in joining up to help with a triggered Faydedar kill? I'm more than happy to help port around and mobilize for the kill, it seems based on previous posts that two solid groups could handle him, but I've never done the triggered fight myself. I appreciate any input!

One group can kill him if the group is well put together. Get a good tank (warrior or monk) and a reasonable healer and it is cake.

I seem to recall that healers could avoid the AE by sitting under the water while fay is tanked on land, or by being on land while it is tanked under water. It's been a while and I'm not sure if that still works.

I can try to be around to help depending on the day and time, would probably bring my bard for the group resists.

Yourself, a bard, a cleric, a tank and a couple of decent dps should make short work of SJW Fay.

You are wise to take a second group just in case.

wow, I'm really grateful to everyone's response. Would the best approach be to camp out by Dolgin Codslayer to find when he is up and try to put something together then rather than schedule it in advance only to find him down? I saw the trigger mob up today, but not sure if we reached the point in the server lifetime that this is the norm.

I'm planning on taking Faydedar down around 7pm tomorrow, EST. as a thank you for everyone hoofing it out to the middle of nowhere in Timorous Deep, I'll be randoming off 5K after the battle. I'll be on during the day to help with ports for anyone coming. Hope to see ya there!
