Whats the best way to powerlevel a cleric?
What level should I start?
What level should I stop?
I have a good weapon and a FBSS would i consider myself a melee?
What does melee or caster matter?
On live I would just powerlevel people with my bard but I dont think it works this way here.
WHAT DO I DO?!

Get a bard, pull everything in zone, aggro everything w/aoe Slow, damage shield on bard, Cleric AOE.

You can also have/hire a high level monk and have him damage mobs to 5-15% and FD. Then finish the rest of the mobs off and you will full solo exp. I did this on my cleric and got him to 40 with relative ease.

On my cleric I used a monk up until level around level 30, then used a mage until level 50.
Cleric had less than 2 days played. I also had clarity on him constantly. If you want to Duo to get cleric up in levels, I would suggest mage or necro.

What zone did you do this in? I found my DS to be low enough that if there were runners was kinda SOL, and i got hit so little it was extremely slow as well, unless I constantly sat but that would actually get me down in hp eventually before mobs were dead.

Runnyeye/SolA work pretty good. Apply ae slows, let cleric tag, dot up and zone out. Rinse, repeat.

McTard is right. The trick is finding lots of mobs of very similar level that can be AE'd by the cleric. It also helps that clerics have DA in case something goes wrong and the cleric has to say hello to 50 mobs all of a sudden.

If you want to lose experience and simultaneously wipe zones of people who already hate you for pling send a tell to geegoo.

1-15 Druid PL, on whatever you can find
15-30 Monk PL Highkeep guards
30-35+ SolA gnomes
I've really not done much PLing past that, I'd imagine Lguk would work well with a monk.
I've personally never used a bard for PLing.

MM is still very popular, I've seen PL'ing going on and a lot of groups ranting because they are forced to share not very many spawns because someone wants to take the fast track. I've no problem with PL'ing as long as its not impacting groups from getting along at a good pace.
So do the server a favour and don't go to MM and annoy all the 20's characters who have a hard time sharing the pool area with soloing monks/mages/etc as it is. Better to go to the back door of the sarnak fort in LOIO which is usually quiet and have the PL'er gather many many sarnaks :)
Meanwhile at 5-9, the undead spire in Nektulos (right next to the EC zoneline) is a great place to nuke some static spawns that all come solo... if a lesser mummy shows up and you can't do him yet ask a high level to whack it and free the back right hand spawn up again.

I'd get feign death plvl all the way up.
Sol A until high 20s/30, Sol B or Paw until low 40s, then duo freeti with a higher level chanter or fd plvl in burning wood.

The best thing to do is find mobs that will flee and do them 1 at a time
for example, pull stuff out of the basement in Unrest and run it to the front. at like level 9 you drop a hit or two on 30+ mobs as they run away and the monk is FD.
can get a yellow per kill or so through 20 in Unrest using this method

Yeah a monk or an SK/necro doing 1 mob at a time is best. An SK/nec is actually better at plvling through the lower levels because your cleric would only have to hit something for 1 damage and let DoTs finish it off.

dotted running mobs are the best PL thing ever

Just a little tip to bards, if you charm a mob it memblurs itself and on break only should have agro on you. This essentially allows bards to do the FD mechanic but instead you beat it down, charm, invis, snare, and let the person beat it down the rest of the way. Hardest part so far is controlling how far i get it down, and it does regen a lil while charmed but not much, so not quite as good as FD but still works.
Been doing this on live for years and it worked on p99 the other day too, =) DS is faster on live, but on p99 it's just such a low ds in comparison.

I bet that with the recent changes, monk PL is done!
