Why are there not very many? Hard to level? Threat too high for tanks in this era?

no offense pikler but thats a horrible excuse that lazy people who play wow make. Playing a wizard from 1 to 50 was pure easy.

Think leveling a wizard is hard? Try leveling a melee class where soloing isnt even an option.

I think the main reason not many people play wizards is because a mage can nuke pretty good also but can solo 10 times better.

Being able to port is great and all but if soloing is something you want to be able to do mage is probably a better choice.

got to 46! ... it's actually a little tough to get groups. My one suggestion for anyone levelling one is to find people, make friends, and stay with them!

There are probably more wizards out there then you think, most are either anon or rp. I know i was and still am. Everytime I turn it off it's generally 2 minutes at most that I get asked for a port. And yes if you don't give the tank enough time for agro you will end up tanking it for a while

whats funny about this is that by velious wizards will be super desirable and mages will be relegated to mod-rod duty and coh-botting.

the only **real** advantage to mages (and necros/druids---the other two bloated class populations currently) is that they are easy to level. easy and efficient soloing. that is all.
