I play Counter-Strike 1.6 still, I'll play Wrath Classic when that releases. GTAO is still fun to me and ill play sport games, bought the new Forza too but have yet to play it.

Dude no way! I was playing FFT port on phone a few months back. I even did shitloads of grinding and unlocked dark knight class on main character (without over leveling, now THAT’s hard to do) before act 3

I then promptly burnt out and quit lol. I should continue, I bet I can beat the rest of it with just my main as a dark knight and agrias as an OP geomancer (that’s the secret for her, make her a geomancer and she gets ridic stat growth and does huge damage with an elemental sword)

Heck ya and no hand holding, no maps, extreme death penalties. Just like eq used to be. Never really been into pvp but I’m gonna give it a shot once everything starts working.

I had the same reaction at first. DDDA was hard to get into and stick with; even after gaining access to all of the vocations and fleshing the better ones out, it was still frustrating. But remembering that similar frustrations have been voiced by players completely new to classic EQ, I stuck with it. Many have commented that they moved on from it after dedicating several hours, only to then give it a second or third try later, using another vocation which made all the difference, similar to EQ.

The vocations are imbalanced but they also offer radically different playthroughs, each having their own situational strengths...again, similar to EQ. The list of tricks that can be employed by different vocations against certain mobs will make you feel like a moron after doing it the hard way for so long.

Overall, there's a lot of customizability for both arisen and pawn in terms of appearance; pawns are however limited to the more basic vocations. Height/weights determines carrying capacity, run speed, endurance expended/replenished, etc.

Again, not easy getting into but once you get beyond a certain point, it all just works and on a level other RPGs don't manage to even with mods.
