Grouping zones by level range?

Hello! I recently returned to the server after some time off and saw all of the ZEM changes. I've got a few characters in all level ranges and was wondering where people group up these days?

I've got 2 in the 50s, 2 in the 30s, and 1 that is 17 for reference.

Depending on your class, level of twinkage, etc:

Warrens (5-20+) --> Permafrost (20-30) --> Paw/CT (30-40+) --> CoM (40-50) --> Karnor / Velk / Seb / HS / Hole / CoM Uppers (50-60)

Thats pretty much the ZEM xp superhighway....if you're twinked can prob throw some kedge in there too for upper 40s / low 50s but unlikely to find random groups in there.

OP please ignore that guy. No one groups in the Warrens or Permafrost. Sometimes people will but you're not likely to find people there.

The most common places for the lower end are Unrest and Oasis. Maybe Mistmoore and UGuk on occasion (or Kurn's for a duo or trio sometimes).

The other info is relatively accurate with the exception of HS and Seb where you're not that likely to find random pickup groups

Ignore the highest ZEMs for 1-30 in the game where most classes solo just fine. Good call.

Did you not read OP’s post? They asked where people group in the various level ranges. Can you walk into permafrost or the warrens and find random pickup groups going on? Highly doubt you can find that more than maybe like once a month (maybe slightly more frequently with Warrens, but I haven’t seen a pickup xp group in permafrost in years). OP didn’t ask about the beat zems to solo in, you just didn’t read their post before replying

50s: Hole, KC
30s: Highkeep, Mistmoore
17: Unrest, Oasis, Kurns

Splitpaw, Permafrost, CT, Seb are all BYOG.

There is a gap for finding groups from 35 to 40.
Highkeep ends at 35. Paw, Unrest, Mistmoore are empty most of the time
CoM starts at 40

I'm actually struggling with these same levels on my cleric. MM is a ghost town these days. Thinking I'll go solo hag tower if I can at 34.

If you can that'll carry you into 39 (before ZEM changes I'd say 40 but it super slows down at 38/39) which should be good enough for some COM and once you have CH you should be golden, Jerry.

Yup, on both servers the 30-40 range is pretty tough. I rarely see groups in Highkeep anymore either. I have a tank alt that’s been stuck at 31 for awhile now

It's a travesty what they did to HighKeep. This was my favorite zone. You could stay there from 25 to 50. Neutral vendor, bank, good steady Plat flow, easy, simplistic, reliable. You could level casters there, melee, group, solo. It was the best. Even later when I got my turbo twinks I leveled a warrior there with Fungi Tunic, Fungi Staff, and some weapons that procced at level 1 that I can't remember. It was amazing. Went from grouping in Goblins or soloing low guards to doing the same to upper level guards and bards. You literally NEVER had to leave the zone.

Now it's a shithole. #classic.

@Iaacan - Warslik woods, Giant fort is good until 31 actually and people still group up there occasionally and can also do the Yeti's in the caves going to Dalnir.

Sadly, lake of ill omen is no longer a major leveling spot for groups at the sarnak fortress. Dalnir was made overly difficult for most regular toons to level up, but it sure is fun. People just don't group in kunark for leveling up due to the casters and later on harmtouch mobs.

Unrest until late 20's, then head to splitpaw. MM is dead nowadays on Blue.

Paw/CT almost always empty these days. As is MM. there’s a huge gap in the mid levels where it’s hard to progress if you need a group

Best times to find grps are prime time est
HHK goblins still has grps in the evenings est lots of nights i think, tanks are at a premium usually (20-30)
30-40 you can find people around PAW and sometimes inside, i was also able to find grps at OT ramp consistently recently as well.
40-50 CoM, was 20people there the other night but can be empty during the day
50+ KC has 20+ nightly
