Yeah, it's a bit of a paradox. Boxing keeps players away, but low pop necessitates boxing to an extent. I know quite a few on p99 that would go over if they changed boxing policy.

takp already had a low population

and boxing was allowed to combat that

because in lower to mid level its impossible to find a group

on takp it's mostly 3 box level your way to 60s and then raid

everything is rotated too!

P99 and TAKP are amazing servers in their own right. As an early EQ fan, I couldn't be more stoked that both exist.

I love takp and enjoy boxing as well. But I also love p99. They both have their pros and cons. Takp community is way less toxic though I can tell you that.

pretty sure TAKP is just another alkabor clone that lets u box. So Planes of Power.

You can disable the luclin UI on takp so you can f10 between classic and velious style UIs. It is pretty cool. Was very strong nostalgia seeing it. The rear view mirror doesn't work. Still not beat level 5 yet though.

I think it has basically the Platinum client +a bunch of magic the devs cooked up
