Casual guild for those who want to earn all their gear through looting, questing and tradeskilling. Stop and smell the roses, gear that you've looted in the past while twinked out will suddenly have meaning. Combine weapon, Bone Bladed Claymore, Dragoon Dirk, Gnoll Hide Lariat might be your first magic weapon. Post character name(s) with race/class here if you have interest in joining.

Could be interested as I only have a single character on Green and can't twink, but does this mean no earning plat to buy at EC tunnel? Everything must be looted, quested or crafted? Does it also mean a strictly need-before-greed policy?

I did receive some newbie handouts and have been looting and selling guards' shields left to rot. Gave me enough plat to allow me to buy a decent newbie weapon and spells.

I think you pretty much understand the intent of the guild. The point of the guild is to earn your gear yourself, not buying in EC or it being a handout. Play as if everything was no drop. It's not for everyone, but can be a fun and rewarding experience. Hope you can join us with an alt.

Chances are we'll have enough to get it formed if you just want to sleep =). And we can add you later if you'd like. As for trading, yes within reason, like within 6 levels of mob that dropped item. Same applies to tradeskill items that require spells of a certain level, within 6 levels of the spell.

If it's on a vendor normally, then you can use. If it's not, then within 6 levels of mob that dropped it rule applies. It's highly encouraged to earn your own gear or make your own gear. Within 6 levels, applies to tradeskill items as well.

You could technically buy a gnoll hide lariat at level 9 off a vendor if you saw it for sale since it drops off a level 15 mob. But the point of the guild for me is to earn every last piece of gear. But the secondary point of the guild is to play with people who aren't twinked.

I love this idea. I have a human necro I created in January that just barely hit level 13. He's earned all his gear from mobs and quests and I even click off gift buffs (lots of super generous people on green believe it or not) simply so I can see what this necro can do on his own. Not sure I'll ever get to 60 before the world ends but I'd be happy to help out this guild in whatever way I can as a super casual. Names Dathan in game.
