Is the Blue-Green merger happening Organically?

I can't help but notice more and more blue folks coming over, and let me just say: What took you so long? Seriously though, welcome to those that have come over for a fresh start recently.

It has me thinking though, is a merger sort of happening organically or is this just a phase? Curious what others think.

Blue should have been wiped after the plat-dupe bug, or after the MQ2 anti-cheat code was added. At this point it's painfully obvious that the devs are profiting from the project.

The logic is you can farm like 20 plat in a half hour on a new character and then buy gear that makes the game easy until level 50? The Epitome of Mudflation is a good thing for the casual players you enjoy grouping with. It's only bad for the losers who troll EC tunnel.

What's wrong with the populations? Also if Luclin and PoP was so much in demand, TAKP has both. Don't see anyone flocking there.

I kind of wish some of them would go back to Green. Two years ago there was hardly anybody in Paineel, now I feel like there's so much competition here, regular CC's for the Guards, people constantly running through and mass murdering them.

Pretty much accurate.

They’re basically the same top heavy experience at this point, just Green has some crappier aspects with UI etc.

Once the sleeper was awakened I saw a bunch of people come back to play their blue chars (some still play their green chars too)

Green still beats blue daily pop wise, post-sleeper it barely changed at all.

If somebody is starting fresh, green is obviously going to have more people leveling up who aren't just alts of lvl 60s. Granted green is extremely top heavy too, but it's inevitable. Plus, it depends on what somebody's goals are. There are people who play this game just to craft and shit, not everyone is a min maxing raid psycho.

/shrug all I know is areas throughout the level ranges seem to be more crowded lately and I’ve bumped into a lot of people on blue who switched over from green since in many ways it’s basically the same experience at this point

It's possible for your observation to mesh with the charts posted above if there's been population loss elsewhere. Has the active raiding population declined, either from the high-end or the second tier guilds?

While I appreciate your patronage at the site, it is important to note that the "growth"/health graph is only over the past 30 days. There is typically a "summer slump" in all the servers, and red's population being so small very, very minor fluctuations can give its growth/health value apparently outsized moves.
