Should I play green or wait for red 2.0?

Hey guys I’m looking for some advice should I play green now or wait for red 2.0 to come out before really diving back into the game?

Thanks for the advice.

Also what do you think should I play a necro at launch (gnome, de, or erudite?) or wait for Kunark to play a necro for regen powers?

Wizard at launch for the era when they can nuke people best, Enchanter alt to do PvE farming shit, and Iksar Monk alt when Kunark comes out so that you will eventually have a top character for Velious era. But fuck Velious era. And fuck Seafuries being nerfed, formerly one of the most interesting PvP hotspots.

Choose a deity you like and go from there. Maybe pick a race class combo for that deity which subverts expectations.

People hunting seafuries is classic as fuck. I'm not sure if they are currently overnerfed or if it really is accurate, but seafury isle is magical and should be a hotspot. Ahhh, the hundreds of ways this game could be improved...

Sea fury nerf is a non classic element is what Jim jam is saying. They just nerfed it just like they nerfed the smuggling quest in rivervale when I 30 boxed it on beta (boxing was allowed on beta) and they thought it somehow could be efficient to get 1pp every 15 minutes when you’re single boxing.

Non-classic nerfing of Seafuries just because they didn't want to deal with all the /reports of people squabbling over pulls is so dumb. They should just label Seafury isle as a FFA area and let people do what they will. That's how the game actually operated in 1999 anyway. Sigh.

Being pirate adventure theme zone OOT should be no rules ffa pvp when you step off the relative security of the ship.

Just play green, 2.0 red will never pull numbers like green nor resonate like anything but another sub-100 pvp server.

I'd wait for red 2.0 at this point unless you plan to raid on green with no loot ration tokens and work your way up.
