So I logged on gmail yesterday and they informed me that my account had been accessed via China. Ok, email account password changed and anything else that seems important. Next thing I noticed this morning that a Battle.net account was created with my email address. Given that I no longer play warcraft and never will I went ahead and verified the battle.net account to see where this goes. Unfortunately I can't use the automated system to get the password to the account because I don't know the surname of the person that created the account, only his first, Zhang (Lol). What is up with this shit I haven't played WoW in over 2 years but must have clicked on something that made them think I am. Thoughts?

P.S. my wow account wasn't even connected to the email address.

If your account had your name on the RealID they might have tried to find an email address with your name (your gmail) to access your actual WoW account.

So they probably cross-referenced my name on my account to my facebook page and found out that my favorite band is not in fact what I stated in game the other day, and Jack Bauer is going to kick down my door tomorrow?

Maybe this (http://lulzsecurity.com/releases/62000_random_logins.txt) has something to do with your problem?
