This will more than likely draw out more troll posts then beneficial.
Why do the admin seem to rather cultivate a space for racist behavior, then try to remove it when it is petitioned.
First petition was of Treign(Iksar Monk) from the guild Deus posting a anti-semetic symbol used during WWII. It was petitioned with screen shots, and log files. That toon is still playing regularly.
Second petition was for the name Jooh Dirtyrat a Bard. Again a name that is undeniable anti-semetic.
Is this really the community that they want to have and condone? Silence is guilt.

Calling someone a dirty rat is anti-Semitic? Soft ass snow flake.

This is a free server with volunteer staff. P99 isn't like facebook where they have staff members that are actively going to hunt down small offenses like this. You can choose to either stop playing or just ignore those people. If you petitioned, it will be looked at when the staff get to it. They do force name changes for things like this, so it will happen eventually.

I give this Troll post 1 out of 10.
it's possible the first guy didn't actually post the thing? did he have an impersonator?
second one is just the phrase "You dirty rat", The j sound is kind of a reference to "jeet yet" or the old "Ownzjoo" I dont think it refers to Jewish race or Jewish religion at all.
The problem is if you have to paint the picture, there's usually se plausible deniability, and nobody can read people's minds

“ rather cultivate a space for racist behavior”
they want to have and condone? Silence is guilt.
Sounds like familiar talking points to me.
Guilty of what?
Silence =/ viewpoint. Maybe they have not seen it, or maybe they disagree on your interpretation, or maybe they allow it even though they disagree.
A lot of assumptions are going on in your post. And cultivate? How can you know what their motives are without proper evidence.
Sounds like blaming content creators for their commenters. A familiar tactic.

This is the only real answer. Though it might take them a while. Staff wouldn't even know 99% of this shit goes on.
I remember an Iksar monk on blue who was 60 and IIRC in a raiding guild. Their name was the literal verbatim of what the server rules tell you not to do, but most staff probably skim-read that and don't give a shit that you're named "Cannabis." Maybe they're still playing Blue. I'd feel bad for outing you if I didn't feel like getting you banned off blue was doing you a favor.
By the way, you're also not allowed to name yourself Switchblade, Phaser or Toaster either as per the rules. Along with a million other names names that shouldn't exist in a high-fantasy setting yet still do, which is probably because no one (besides Rogean so those 4 names are definitely bannerino'd) has the right to say whether or not a word would exist in an alternate universe and it may not even have the same meaning as on Earth. Most people don't report dumb names like that because who cares, but I find it funny that people are making every excuse possible for "Jew Dirtyrat."

1 - Was there in the first group incidentally, first time meeting both yourself and the guy who "offended" you. Guy was copy-pasting character symbols to see which ones show up in the game macros. You bailed on the whole group after seeing a bunch of pixels on the screen, without talking to anyone or expressing your "feelings". Treign apologised afterward you left if anyone took offense - which nobody did, probably lacking the required professional victim complex, or the innate desire to control how other people communicate online.
2 - If you are somehow coming to the conclusion that a guy called "Jooh" is some sort of a reference to anti-semitism, that speaks more about you than the bard.
3 - After meeting Treign in that group, he's been one of the most helpful players who I've had the pleasure of interacting with, going out of his way to help several other players - myself included early on when I started. Not that this should be of any relevance here, as he most certainly doesn't need me to speak on his behalf, but your post here makes you a far more toxic and anti-social player than Treign ever was.
4 - Going off this thread, I would rather be neighbours with - an actual - and the most racist individual, who hates my guts and yells slurs at me every day, than a moral busybody and a professional victim, that you displayed yourself to be here. People are sick and tired of the woke BS that has spread like cancer and infested itself into real life. People play online games - including and especially nostalgic ones like this - to escape all that. Which brings me to point 5:
5 - At the end of the day, "offensive" stuff on the internet in general, and in this case EQ group chat, is the most "classic" and nostalgic 1999 EQ experience we can get.

Everyone knows that anti-racism and EverQuest go hand in hand. If you do not explicitly include anti-racist messaging in all your in-game communications, you are doing it wrong.
Example:
"Seb group LF Cleric 55-60 no racists allowed"
"Monk LF Shaman duo keep all anti-Semitic remarks to urself tho"
"Black player here looking for other players of color to form a safe space group"
Stay woke, folks!

Go outside more my friend! Go for runs or bicycle rides. I dont like to be mean but this is 1 of the saddest levels of Elfsim over-immersion and emotional investment I have read on these forums in a long time about such trivial things. You seem even more neurotic and house-bound than the OP.

Well yeah, they're both the same ideologically and very much toxic to be around. The difference is that the actual racist just yells mean things in irrational anger - all of which you can simply ignore and walk away from. The anti-racist on the other hand, wouldn't let you ignore them and walk away, as they would go after people's hobbies, jobs, livelihoods, and go out of their way to censor and oppress anyone who doesn't fall in line with their ideological cult. Of course I would rather than my chances with the lesser of two evils - who wouldn't?

Haha thanks, I work outdoors so do get plenty of sun, but will go for a run since yeah, you are right, it's good to get more cardio. I've just had enough of the toxic moral busybodies injecting political religion into hobbies, so the OP pissed me off.

the problem is this game came out in 1999, basically the end of the golden age of gaming. where we could say and do whatever we wanted within reason.
Now today, we find ourselves at a crossroads, we want to relive those 1999 years, but at the same time live in 2022.
It's super cucked when SJW GM's go down that road.

There’s certainly a lot of anti-Christian sentiment thrown around in off topic. Probably a lot on Reddit too but I don’t surf that
I don’t mind though for two reasons 1. because I’m not a little bitch, and 2. I don’t think I’m allowed to mind. Fairly sure Christianity is the one religion that is perfectly socially acceptable to mock and verbally attack. Something about societal position of power dystopia fantasies
