All the guides that are listed on the wiki or here (http://www.thesilversandbox.net/p1999/main.php) say that I should be able to make dairy spoons, fillet knife, skewers and pots to skill up.

Fillet Knife and Dairy spoon combinations don't work
Skewers and Pots are trivial to me.

So aside from banded masks, what can I actually make for skill?

I'd just make banded. I'm not sure that there's anything else you can do. Banded gorgets trivial at 90 or so, at which point you can make banded reliably enough to sell it. You only need like 50pp to get from 65 to 90 by making banded, if that.

Try using this old EQTraders link (http://web.archive.org/web/20000623170820/http://eqtraders.com/) from June 2000 on the WayBackMachine.

You probably leveled up smithing earlier when things like dairy spoons were erroneously in place on P99. Dairy spoons were not introduced until Velious ...

There was an update which removed lots of recipes to make tradeskilling more "classic". I'll dig for info on when they removed it.

Banded is the way to go, sellable too if you want to trade it in EC for 1pp/AC... do it on a "Made to order" basis.

Full sets are the most alluring however, people won't just want mantles.

Thanks for all the replies. For some reason I was thinking the lowest bit of banded trivial was a good bit higher than 90.
