DE on Faydwer...how do I get back on the boat again?

Oh boy... i got to Faydwer but now i want to go home... as a DE, if I remember right, I have to swim then get on the front of the boat to avoid the dorf on the pier?

I remember on live there was a location in the front of the boat that you could kinda get stuck on and thus the boat would take you through the zoneline. Not sure this exists on p1999-

Another option is to ask around for a levitate, get to some ground above sea level, and run over when the boat shows up.

Another option is invisibility.

This is what I usually pull on my dark races, as I do not trust the janky boat mechanism to take me along if I'm not solidly on it-

no cash for a port, nowhere to sell on Faydwer that I know of. Gonna try the front end and see what happens. Back later with report

You can sell to the druid at the druid ring in BB. No where to bank.

Otherwise if you need to get back most people will port lower level players for free if they have time, or you can ask somebody for an invis. Next time you are in neriak buy yourself some cloudy potions, for times like this.
