I actually played for a few years using plex to play for free.

Interesting move as they keep people playing and screw over gold farmers.

Though it seems it was the slippery slope that led to this.

The night before my server got merged into Luclin, there were tons of people in PoK just hanging out and saying their goodbyes. It felt like the end of the world. I don't know if I ever logged on again after the merge.

If I ever saw a message like this for EQ, I might re sub for the last month to send it off.
