I'm just curious, how do you guys who are in the end game (60) spend the majority of your time? Is it,

- raiding?
- exploring zones with no particular aim?
- questing?
- camping for loot?
- solo artist stuff?

and out of curiosity, do you feel like the real game is leveling up to 60, or is it the post 60 stuff? im curious to know how long people keep playing this game once they've hit 60 on a few toons

I personally only have one level 60 character.

The moment I dinged 60 I was like, "Huh...guess that's it."

And I rolled a new alt.

Well, my first 60 was a shaman -- so the game really opened up at 60. I saved up every penny and bought a copy of Torpor and memmed it right away.

Then, I crawled dungeons and camped stuff like Sebilis Crypt.

But I was also raiding frequently at 60, before Work-From-Home ended. Got lots of gear upgrades, and got lucky with a few spawns in crypt -- so I hit the EC tunnel and then rolled an alt.

Got the alt to 60, got some upgrades, hit the tunnel and rolled a new alt. Got that alt to 55, got some upgrades, hit the tunnel and---- you see where this is going.

To be honest, the MOST fun is the pre-60 grouping. This game was optimized for small groups to crawl dungeons. The raid scene is kinda boring for most classes, kinda toxic interactions between guilds, and kinda repetitive killing the same things every weekend. But, rolling a fresh alt, learning a new class, getting good at dungeon crawling. That's my jam.

Raiding / questing / camping for loot will be my primary time sinks.

This, 100%...except add on burning dkp on level 5 or 46 mega twinks.

Mostly chill around with one or 2 of my homies waiting for the others to try to play.
All over the world and we still manage once or twice a week usually
Otherwise just raids I like doing
Solo artist stuff got boring pretty quick

I'm currently leveling a 57 Necro and I can already tell the game won't be ending as soon as I hit 60, like it did with my Rogue.

I still have my level 60 spells to find.
I still have my epic to get. (lol good luck)
I also plan on doing a lot of Velious content since I missed out when I used to play Live
I also plan on camping various mobs for money since this character is really the only money maker I have.

I like to spend my time tanking dragons, giants, epic fights... everything I can really/nod..

When there's nothing to tank I'm forced to play my stupid dkp soaking alts :p

I really enjoy being a tank (mained a warrior on live), but my tank on P99 is stuck in the 30s. I just can never find the time to level him up given limited play time + slower EXP in groups + wasting time LFG sometimes for like half a play session (made worse by the fact that the 30s can be like ghost towns group-wise).

Depends on what class you play. If you're a shaman, you only get torpor at 60 so you definitely don't stop playing then. For other classes I can see it being much more anti-climactic.

Really though the only way to "win" everquest, on paper, is to have best in slot gear in every slot. Which I'll never have and don't really want to have. I've still never been to sleeper's tomb ever, even after playing this game in some form since 1999.

You don't necessarily want to eat the carrot at the end of the stick ya know?

My hobbies are my way to relax. I am one of those people who just change activities in order to have a good rest and I like it. Due to the fact that I work or study almost 70% of my day, there is not much time for everything else.

Ditto; this is my plan but still leveling my first character. I only started 2 weeks ago :D
