About "buying" JM Boots

I see people often selling the JM Boot quest stuff, but I dont really know how it works? I thought part of the quest was something that couldn't be bought/sold or was no drop or something? How exactly do you "buy" it? What happens after you pay the 5 or 6k, what do you have to do?

The Ring of Ancients and the rapier are both no-drop. Who ever hands the last item in which completes the quest will get the boots.

Sooo usually that means you "buy" the ring. And whomever you purchase it from does the first turn to Hasten with the ring. You then follow up with the rapier and the gold turn-ins and get the boots.

You can also have the person who turns the ring in turn in the rapier as well ~ as long as you give Hasten the gold last, you'll be awarded the boots.
