Pained Soul disappearance

Yesterday I camped this mob and the ph was there. Today it has vanished. GM's are telling me the roamer mob is the pH and I know that is inaccurate. Could you guys back me up on this?

I've seen him as a roamer in TT. If we are talking about the same thing. If he's supposed to be like that or not, I'm not sure...

Assuming you're "I was wrong" post clears this up, but in case anyone is wondering, the pained soul PH does indeed wander.

Roamer = PH.

It's the roamer that paths perfectly through the building...not the one that can go through walls.

Also, Loke is bad.

After testing this there can be a roamer as well as a non roamer. Which is what threw me off. I have read of the ph being trained off and not returning properly. I just wanted clarification before doing the time on this mob

As someone who camped pained soul for 61 hours on this server... there's only 1 PS placeholder. He spawns in 2 forms, a spectral champion or caster. If it's the caster, he runes himself, walks 5 steps away from the seb bubble, casts another self buff, walks to the open area between buildings, makes a left, walks another 20 yards, flips a U turn and walks the exact same path back to his spawn point, where he repeats. Champ does the same thing just without casting.

There is another spectral that paths through the room but you can tell it's not the PH because it breaches the room in the direction of sebilis and has a larger pathing radius.

Not enough detail in your observations to make us believe you actually did this for 61 hours.. ;)

I bet you have dreams about this camp after obviously spending so much time there.. :)

PH/PS definitely didn't roam on live.

Two scenarios:

1) Shiftin walks in on his entire family being murdered.

2) Shiftin heads to Sebilis and finds the Pained Soul roaming around unmolested now that he no longer needs it.

Which would be more traumatic for him?
