Beginner items for Magician

I just started my first new character, 'Erudite | Magician' LvL 14. (I haven't played since the early 2000's; so please forgive my ignorance)

Looking to get an estimate on how much it would cost to get items this level so I know how much I need to save and ensure I don't waste money on Spells/etc.

I've got 3 of the 4 focus item bases you can just have - everything but the torch

Mages can level fine in cloth armor,the focus items are pretty handy.
