Hello everyone,
I mistakenly disabled a mouse option that allows displaying the names of objects when the mouse pointer is over them I the inventory.
Does anyone know the keyboard shortcut to re-enable this option?
Thank you and good game to all of you.
Try rebooting your computer.

I get this problem every now and again. Rebooting always fixes. Edit, I see that rebooting didn't fix it for you. Not sure then.

Could you have unmapped it in your in-game keyboard options? Normally it's bound to ALT, but perhaps (I'm honestly not even sure this is possible) you changed it to another key?

Make sure it's a real reboot and not shutdown/startup (unless you disabled fast startup in adv power options).

You are probably right because I only play with hotkeys. I must have disabled the option by mistake with ALT+???. I'll try to find the right key.

I don't know what a real reboot means. My computer is shut down every night and restarted every morning. That's not the problem I think.
Thanks anyway.

It's a windows compatibility issue. Even in compatibility mode, this is a known bug where hover-over tooltips don't work. Only way to fix it is to restart PC.
If it happens frequently, try running p99 client in compatibility mode (Windows XP Service Pack 2)

Shutting down you PC and starting back up the next day will NOT solve this. You must do just a simple restart.

Thank you for this process, I will try that next time.

This does not solve the problem unfortunately. Thank you for answering.
Have a good day.

I get this problem every few weeks. It is solved by doing a windows restart, not a windows shutdown, has to be a restart.

It is an old issue that use to hit me every once and awhile. If you do a search you should find some threads on it. You didn't do anything wrong really but you will need to wait I think a couple weeks, unsure how many days because it's been awhile but it will come back on it's only after I don't know 2 or 3 weeks. Just need to be patient and not worry about it.
