Yes, though MQ'ing the scimitar outside of VS seems silly. You can solo most of the druid epic in the low 50s.

Yea some parts will need a bit of faction work if you aren’t a Druid. I looted the kedge crystals on my Bertox mage and had to hand in a backpack of muffins in Freeport. I expect some parts a bit more difficult so prob wouldn’t quest it with an iksar necro or something.

Yes, I've sold the full epic (I believe they just needed to be traded one of the foraged items, and just MQ's from there) - I sold it once for 100k, and gave the other away.

The parts you'll most likely have to MQ are the VS Stone, the Pod of Seawater, the Reaver and getting help killing the Corrupter. AFAIK everything else can be done solo, unless you're low 50s in which case some of the cleansed spirit mobs might be a struggle.
It's mostly a giant fuckfest of running around, foraging and doing turn-ins.

So, OP, which sounds more worthwhile? Farming 90k platinum pieces or building some in-game relationships and completing the epic quest?

One of the quicker ways is to just have the crew help you kill Ulump for that piece and they can MQ the rest in Overthere. Once you have that cleansed spirit they can MQ all the other parts with a port to NK. It’s really like a 30 minute job.
I bet you could find a crew to provide some of the kills and MQ’s and you could do most of most of the easier stuff. This would not only cut down the price significantly but be fun. Then again, people buy turnkey epics all the time so don’t feel pressured.

i paid for a full druid epic mq on my level 5 druid
it worked outside of someone having fucked up the previous turn in so the mq failed
but otherwise, my level 5 druid would have the epic rn

MQ the Kedge Crystals, that place is a headache.
A low 50s druid and even a mid 50s druid will probably struggle camping the goblin shamans in Lake Rathetear with all the underwater interrupts. Even if you manage to break up the camp, both mobs are on 6 minute timers so holding the camp while maintaining mana is a struggle. You'll probably want help for that one.
Brownies are no joke either, likely want a small group for them.
Bind near Ulump so you can check him regularly, then mobilize a few guildies when he's up. He's not that contested so shouldn't take too long to get him. Same with Faydaddy, he takes much longer to check for but he's not that contested either, check him once or twice a day and eventually you'll get him.
Seafury Cyclops is often left up while people kill the ones around him, so just bring a few friends to kill it or ask someone there who can fear kite to kill it for you.
Hill Giants, Mammoths and Gorillas you should be able to take on your own. Barracudas should be manageable for you too, but snare it bring it on land if you can; it's not fun trying to fight one underwater. Ask for help if you have problems, he doesn't despawn once he's up.

We have a 60 ranger that solo'd it for me, was a hairy fight though. Brownies feel underconned to me, not sure if that's actually the case though.
