StationRipper is a hell of a nifty program that I'd recommend to any users of Pandora, Last.fm, or other music streaming services. You can set it to automatically record + name song files from any of these sources, and have it recording from multiple sources at the same time.

It has to play the entire song file to record from some sites, like Last.fm it seems, but currently in Pandora as soon as the song pops up in your player, it downloads the entire thing. Skip through channels + skip songs after they load = lots of free, legal downloads (for personal use of course).

Comes with a free 2 week trial, def. worth buying imo.

This is awesome. Although, can you explain how it's legal?

1. Write down name of song
2. Go to piratebay
3. Download
4. ???
5. Profit!

It's still legal under fair-use of music. The music being streamed to your PC is not DRM protected currently, thus there are no current laws against recording the stream. That's my understanding, anyways. This legality only extends to your personal use. Sharing the music files with others would cross that threshold.

1. Write down name of song
2. Go to piratebay
3. Download
4. ???
5. Profit!

If you want to:

1)Engage in illegal pirating of music
2)Waste time manually downloading each song
3)Not be able to listen to the stations while they are being ripped

Go right ahead.
