ENC / BARD something similar ?

Are there any other game(s) online or otherwise that have anything close to the Everquest Enchanter or Bard? Or are other companies scared of stuff like that?

not a game but TV show legend of the seeker had a main character with powers exactly like an enchanter, called her a confessor.

they also had this chick with the powers of a shadow knight, harm touch and all

there was also a wizard, doing the usual wizardry

WoW retail Augmentation evoker sounds a bit like bard, mainly supports his group’s damage

But can’t charm. Charm is extremely hard to balance in MMO’s so most don’t touch it
