i mean, i suppose it could mean eq3 in 2028? but he didnt exactly announce it. It was more of a, and i'm paraphrasing here, 'hey if we were to say eq3 were to come out in 2028 ppl would take notice bc its a strong ip' now it did seem like he was strongly eluding to it because in the next slide he showed the 2026 and 2028 "new ip" was listed.

Usually i'd not even be remotely interested in eq3 bc daybreak or whoever tf owns them now hasnt done anything with eq to inspire hope in me that theyre going to do something great with it....BUT! he did say that Elden Ring showed ppl that you can have a hardcore niche game and be successful. So I think that was him eluding to the fact that EQ has always kinda been hardcore and its gone away from that in recent expansions and he seems aware of that. So maybe these guys are going to go back to the roots of eq1 and actually try and make an authentic eq experience with 3...we will see!
