Bag limits and new content can alleviate some of these issues.

It’ll never happen. Project Quarm is what you’re looking for if you want cats on the moon. The whole vision of the server was a velious locked EverQuest. For them to change that vision is just not likely.

Move along. Devs checked out long ago. It's no surprise too...EQ nerds burn through content so fast, developers will always be fighting a losing battle trying to keep their server "fresh". EQ nerds are their own worst enemy.
