OHH I think i get it - I kinda chuckled.


In classic EQ, lots of people didn't know where to put their extra points, so people sometimes put them into stats not built for their class. In this case, amping a gnome necro's str - something presumably only a noob would do.

Interestingly, more STR to carry more loot is actually pretty useful...Maybe it would have been funnier if CHA was amped - but I dunno what the last frame would be in that case.


Yes, I realize that since I explained the joke, it's entirely ruined for everyone else. I'm ok with it.

The funniness factor was like 4/10.

EQ Nostalgia/nerding out factor maybe 7/10.

Overall: 5.7/10 post IMHO

yup, did that, my first enchanter I gave some points to wisdom thinking I would resist charms and other mind controls better

When I made Jenithia on live, I put the majority of her points into STR also because I saw a picture of a wood elf holding a giant staff, and thought that I would hit harder if I was stronger. It was the first time I ever played a game like this, up until then I was only playing things like Roller Coaster Tycoon and Sims.

RCT with both expansion packs for $6 debuted on GOG.com last week. Not gonna lie: I squealed a little.

maybe if you were in full raid gear. and in one of the top raid guilds cock blocking all the smaller guilds. most people would say go max stamina and once you cap that start trading stam gear for +hp gear.

cha might be tougher to max but after you have 100 or so most classes see zero benefit in it.
