<Mutiny> Is now recruiting members to join both its raiding operations, and leveling guild!

Mutiny is a guild which is open for anyone to join, we have two types of members, those who are here to raid eventually and those who want to just level.

There are no requirements that you must raid and our discord has separate raid channels so you will not be bothered with it if your uninterested.

We aim to be a different kind of guild on this server, closer knit and more helpful.

About us:

Most of us were a core group of people in the leveling guild friendly druids, who wanted to expand on that idea and be more organized.
We led a Mutiny against the aloof leadership of that guild and started <Mutiny>.

Quickly the idea of wanting to play this game in a less toxic and more egalitarian manner took root.

Ideas were tossed around as to what that would look like so we decided on this.

We aim to become a raiding guild on this server with a different kind of loot system.

We aim to remove dkp as the main loot system on this server and replace it with a socialist, participation based system.

If you are at a raid, and are a member in good standing and an item drops that the loot council deems is appropriate for your class, you can roll on that item.

We hope this will allow characters of all amounts of play time to hope to get good items one day.

No more going to raids to spend hours just to save dkp to one day maybe bid on an item. That system is oppressive to newer players and the server in general.

We have a 1 month system to turn our leveling guild into a guild capable of taking targets at earthquakes and other times.

If you are a disgruntled member of a current raid guild and would like to help build a better system contact leadership and we may have a leadership role for you.

Join Mutiny Today!

Send a tell to any online member and ask for an officer.

How is dkp oppressive but loot council socialist? Seems backwards

this is not some sort of radical idea. The Drift does their loot like this, and they have a ton of really well geared 60s

1) I love that it is simultaneously close-knit, but also fractured into raiders and non-raiders who are 'uninterested' in raiding.

2) Socialism? Sheesh, count me in. I love being at the capricious will of random people I don't know who will arbitrarily decide who is worthy to /random on loot.

DM incoming.

Alphas generally gravitate to the top so burntout lightstones will not be at the whim of the proletariat.
They define the whims of others.

You will have zero worries my good man!
