Celebs going to the super bowl is like a sacrifice. Once they do their careers are pretty much over and they fall into irrelevance.
One big payday. They dont need to be celebs any longer. Can be them sans dumbfuck fans fawning over them.
Maybe? I dunno. Anyways, the Superbowl sounds more like a modern cricket thing.

Elon had the gall to not ban people unless they break the actual law. He literally bought the entire platform essentially just to make that one change. It should never have come to that, but a bunch of unelected babies decided to play god with how information is disseminated in a free society and he was like um nope to all that. He's also been highly vocal about the unforeseen consequences of cheap AI models, so this is totally consistent. It is, or should be, illegal already to digitally remove somebody's clothes without their consent.
Elon had the gall to not ban people unless they break the actual law.
You know he banned a bunch of journalists he didn't like, right? They didn't break any laws or violate any of twitter's policies. Also banned a bunch of people who talked shit about him and twitter.
but a bunch of unelected babies decided to play god with how information is disseminated in a free society
You mean the owners of the website we were using as long as we agreed to their terms? They are the Gods of their own site. Why are they babies? Because they took a dim view on the dissemination of lies and psychological warfare? Their mandate wasn't to disseminate free speech, it was to make money. But after 2016 and 2020 they saw the forest for the trees, that providing a platform for misinformation and psyops was having real, direct, and pernicious effects on American society. Elon is just a different type of God in that space.
The 21st century will be won by whoever can dominate the information space-- hearts and minds. American democracy is particularly vulnerable to information warfare because:
1. We only have two parties, and most people are ultimately single-issue fixators, so it's really easy to solidify loyalty as a party or candidate, while actually truly representing almost nobody except elites.
and
2. Unlike Russia, China, and Iran, we do ultimately choose our leaders somewhat, and this choice can be influenced quite easily through information warfare.
Liking Elon Musk is gross. He's trying to open the gate and let the monsters in.
Is the Swift person saying vote and vote for a particular team? If so, booo.
If she just saying listen people get out and vote. Sounds like good advice. Even of its coming from a pouty whining adult baby.
Either way, country metal is now a thing so i can continue to be friends with the wife. It's like steampunk but for farmers.

I know! Once the private sector gets involved, who cares about basic morality? You can privately act as terrible as you want! I also guess that since Elon has banned some people, it can't possibly be better overall for most users. The boss has acted hypocritically (kinda), therefor let's just give it back to even worse people!
No, sorry, that doesn't pass the smell test coming from the dudes who fancy themselves the enlightened good guys. They kept inviting people like him to "go make your own twitter", and so he said okay assholes, I will! Sorry.

There was also a time, long before tweeter, when humans talked and often said untrue things. And then other humans would correct them, and the undecided 3rd parties could observe those interactions and make their own minds up.
Luckily we wised up though and realized that everything is potentially dangerous except for the stuff I like.

Elon, generally, doesn't like the rapid development of narrowly-targeted low level AI, specifically because of this sort of issue. AI can, in theory, make anyone do anything. That's obviously dangerous and warrants serious consideration.
Despite his desire to get a microchip inside your brain.
When i hear people say someone said to elon go make ya own twitter. So he did. Are just fundamentally wrong.
He made nothing. He bought it then made changes that he felt made him look strong.
Its a pity he is wrong.

Those unreal things were filtered through institutions such as the journalism profession, as well as early telecommunications, which had robust rules for content (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fairness_doctrine).

That's granola. (https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/factcheck/2020/11/28/fact-check-fairness-doctrine-applied-broadcast-licenses-not-cable/6439197002/)
The Fairness Doctrine only applied to broadcast licenses.
The report by the Congressional Research Service notes that broadcast is "distinct from cable, satellite, and the Internet, which are all services for which consumers must pay.
"It does not appear that the Fairness Doctrine may be applied constitutionally to cable or satellite service providers," it continues.

POS Baby-man ELon bought it to STOP free speech against him and to use it for his own racist, misogynist, and anti-Semitic views.
Just like baby man Trump tried to ban TikTok after a teenage girl kept mocking him on it.
LOL. Elon is sketch for sure. Anyone who wants to put a chip in my brain raises my eyebrows. Yet your take on his reasoning for buying Twitter/X seems more because you don't like him and not due to any logical reasoning or substantial proof.

In the culture Musk has created around him, some friends, including directors, feel there is an expectation to consume drugs with him because they think refraining could upset the billionaire, who has made them a lot of money, some of the people said. More so, they don’t want to risk losing the social capital that comes from being close to Musk, which for some feels akin to having proximity to a king.
lol at the above passage. As much of a shithead he is, he's sure sticking it to silicon valley brown-nosers and normies. Sounds like a good first step for weeding out transactional friends and other assorted dingleberries.

And Teslas are trash, I hated mine
Ciderpress
02-11-2024, 03:22 PM
Lol Teslas are not trash. They out perform literally all other EV's in every metric relevant to net lower carbon (both in their individual performance and also in their production practices).
It's just impossible to ignore that this guy was the darling of so many orgs pushing laudable causes, but everyone started pretending he's bad as soon as he broke ranks even slightly. It's very clearly a hivemind effect and sort of betrays the fact that it was all about ideological rigidity all along, and not an earnest concern for whatever the ostensible "cause" of the moment is.
Notice the distinct lack of anybody saying "I loath his downright offensive words but you gotta hand it to him on his accomplishments and pushing mankind forward.". Instead it's always a sour grapes thing about how his cars really are secretly very bad and space-X doesn't hire enough whatever so they suck too! Grr!
Trexller

Tesla as a company is actually doing really bad.
They can't meet delivery dates
customer service is a joke
build quality is wildly inconsistent, they charge premium car prices for what is basically a honda accord.
lithium-ion batteries are not suitable for mass EV use
their software kills people then they blame the driver because auto pilot disengages 1 second before any impacts
they perpetuate a lie that EVs are "zero emission", as well as the lie that the energy use is "green" while instead of powering the vehicle with fossil fuels, it is powered by electricity generated by fossil fuels, which is significantly less efficient than just burning gasoline.
fender benders can total the vehicle
the vehicle records every location, movement and sound that you make.
Tesla isn't groundbreaking, they're just the only game in town. In a couple years when the legacy auto makers catch up, they will run Tesla into the ground. Although, the auto industry has a tendency to mirror what Toyota does, who is basically abandoning their EV efforts in favor of hybrids and hydrogen fuel cells.
Even after billions in investment across all sectors, the charging infrastructure for EVs is still sparse and basically non-existent, and it still takes like 2 hours to fully fuel your vehicle.
Most important of all: Our electrical grids can barely handle our consumption of electricity today, that's with fewer than 1% of cars being electric. The infrastructure doesn't exist to support even 5% vehicles on the road being electric.
Taylor swift also loves elon musk. Is he going to be in the same billionaires booth?
Will elon be with arab oil billionaires cucking for cash?
I gotta say, he had a few of us fooled what with all the "look what I made, all by myself" exclaimations.
That interview with the well dressed man where he said advertisers can go fuck themselves if they wanna blackmail me with money would kill the company and the world will judge me not at fault was "pure genius" wrapped in stupidity.
Imagine thinking that a social media advert company that fails because ya cant keep ya stupid mouth shut will somehow be judged by "the world" to be "not your fault" and it will make a difference. Peak Alpha male power mode.
On a related but unwanted note...
I heard that there has never been so many 13 - 15 yr old girls tuning in to the nfl, like ever (ever ever ever). Surely it is purely the fact that girls love muscular older men rubbing up against each other and toosh pushing their way to point scoring elation. A Toosh Down so to speak.
Anywho, I dont like Taylor swifts music really, but it does seem to have an AOE like outcome. It's like she is swarm kiting a whole (end)zone.
My son loves the nfl game. He also thinks im cool cuz i used to own a pet shop. So there is no accounting for taste.
Imma try check out the hype of the game, but imma stay for the Bardic kiting lesson.

Yes- EV's as a category suck. Tesla is still the best EV, and people actually want to buy them. The enviros need to get down with capitalism if they want anyone to use their dumb stuff.
The point is that the radical shift in public opinion about this guy has literally nothing to do with the quality of his electric cars or anything else he does other than he said a thing they didn't like, as if they're 10 years old. That's all it takes, cause his critics aren't serious people.
That thing he said is a very fundamentally core part of his being. Agree or not its not up to you to decide what we use as search criteria.
Do we not, as a bunch of consumers in a buyers market reserve the right to choose based on any fucking criteria we like? Why would i give my money to someone i dont like?
Assuming trexller is correct about the company and based on his many posts. He rarely is wrong. Tesla as a company are flailing badly for whatever reason. Cucks like you love the idea that father elon will save us all. He has jack. He tries to impress us with his elan instead he displays his childlike view of what he wants, is what he deserves.
Look, he made a gambit. Bought his free speach platform and tried to mould ot into his vision.
It failed. Now he needs to use his bootstraps and pulling back upness to re imagine TWITTER another way.
He also didnt invent/make anything of the companies he bought. He buys things, and that's ok too. Just dont say you invented stuff you didnt. It makes you look like a desperate loser grifting your way to your vision of you.
Some of you fall for that vision. The rest of us see the simple truth.
He is a rich ironman wannabe. If anything he is a Fe Male.

Elon should not even be on your radar as far as powerful people to be concerned about.
Ok. Im just trying to help you understand your limitations.
Its ok, im a fanboi of Malmsteen i thought he was a guitar virtuoso. Turns out he is just an arpeggio generator. A skilled one, and about the most unique thing he does is his take on alternate/sweep picking technique. Very innovative and efficient.
I can see the love you hold for elon. And you are jealous of others giving him attention which you confuse with admirarion. If ole elon didnt want to be judged by others, he could either just stfu about stuff or get a clue about what subjects and opinions make him sound like a douche.
Also, dont tell me how to post. Although you would never admit it, i believe you are either an alt account or a banned account circumventing the rules for the lulz. I dont care which it is (or if im wrong) so dont be all bent out of shape denying alt/banned status.
Imagine telling someone what/how to think and opine on. Since this is elons latest genius business acumen decision.
If you wanna tell me how to post you can "Go and fornicate with yourself". How's that professor? Mark out of 10 please.

But we’re all very blessed to have another day. Don’t let the fuck ups cause unease
Did a young (female) country/pop star really manipulate the US public service application cycle by encouraging people to register to vote and watch her boyfriend play pigskin ball? I mean, it is pretty manipulative and all.
How dare she take 50 something seconds of Soup-A-Bowl telecast. And forcing her bf's team to win!

I think that the mass media is trying to ban guns (knifes and swords are just as deadly, so are bricks, clubs and hammers, a running man can cut a thousand throats in one night).
They want to return the "people" to the stone age so they can fly around in their fuckin tic tacs.
I do think what happened was real, its not a false flag, because people are being programmed and agitated to do these things by the TV and News.

Putin doesn't want a war he wants to degrade us too. Trump doesn't give a F about his treaties and if the Russians do stupid shit we can do stupid shit more and faster. We will win the attrition game. The only way for a Russian victory is for America to eat itself. Which it will still be doing under a Biden 2.0.

I honestly do not know how i would react if I woke up to EVERY PERSON in my 3600 pop town being armed. Its an unlikely scenario I know but i think i might feel, somewhat uncomfortable. I dunno how to use a gun but i reckon I could throw one pretty hard.
Wow. Soup -A -Bowl -> Countrypop girl -> gunz. Seems logical.
The answer to U.S. gun control is a change of law around homicide and liability and jurisdiction.
Australia keeps them tax dollars coming to Lockheed. Thanks Duik, my grandchildren will live off your dividends
Are you trying to be a souless arsehole or does it just come naturally?
Im going with naturally. You are quite good at it. Keep it up. Maybe some drug crazed (or Bud Lite powered) gun tottin good ole boy will give you a lead injection. That way ya grandkids can get more o' ya money but sooner!

Murder is already a liability. Orenthal James.
It seems to depend on who is murdered AND by whom.
If it is certain victims and other certain well regulated malitia men that define your extra freedoms you may have them and good luck to you all.
Im beginning to think im not sorry you got. (Except for a few selected posters that is)

if the shooter is black, the main stream media will refuse to identify the perpetrator for as long as possible
if the shooter is white, they will have everything including the guy's yearbook photos plastered front and center
you think we have a gun problem in this country? really?
urban gang shootouts that occur 5 times a weekend in places like Chicago are considered "mass public shootings"
but it's a gun problem. uh huh.

We have a cultural problem. Guns are a tool. That is being misused and abused by people who, regardless of creed, or genetics seem to be acting just like animals. Stop giving them guns? Give them Bibles and Bhudda. Or Torah and Talmud.
Gom Jabbar.
The people in power are happy at the abuse and misuse because they want people to be powerless. They will be illegal within 100 years.
We have a media monopoly and manipulation problem that gets exasperated when coupled with a low IQ population that is incapable of thinking for themselves.
What does the TV/Idols say to think? Who does the TV/Idols tell me to hate?
Why do you think advertising is such a humongous industry? Because people are easily persuaded and convinced of just about anything if they perceive it to be good/correct/right.
Critical thinking is actively discouraged. Group think and hivemind are what is celebrated and promoted. It's even considered the intellectual route to take by the masses.
It's pretty sad tbhwy.

I think that horseface blonde got a couple bucks off that premise.
She's actually pretty bright.

Don't you just poop on the air exchange?

There's billions of dollars worth of them hidden secretly all over?
Also why would I poop in someone's air just for being a satanic bag of dicks? Seems like it wouldn't be Christian?

If their bunkers are hardened against the congregation, then their hearts are hardened against God, and it is just for the wrath of God to be poured out against them.
I think this is in Exodus. Definitely Moses/Egypt adjacent.

Was Moses wrathful?
Only the spirit of G-d was. His avatar at the time. Where not the people fleeing in exodus? Anyway we are talking New Testament. Or Christ's era here. Anno Domini.
