Lately I've had lots of weirdly serene dreams where massive tidal waves are off in the distance rushing over the mountains toward my house, but it's not a nightmare. Like I'm not afraid of the huge waves, more just in awe of them. And they're always really highly visual and I remember them in vivid detail after I wake up, whereas most of my dreams I can only remember hazy pieces of.

Other times I have really dull boring dreams, where it's basically just my actual life and nothing is different or strange, but it's a dream. Like if I know I have a dentist appointment in the morning and go to bed, sometimes I'll have a dream at like 6am that I'm waking up and getting dressed and getting in my car to go to the dentist, and *then* I actually wake up for real and have to actually do the thing I was just dreaming about a second ago.

Dreams are weird.
