I think you are saying the group was pulling mobs from a camp and I infer you started taking mobs from that camp, justifying it on the grounds that they weren't actually sitting in aggro range.

Whatever the rules might state, that's not ok in my book and would deserve at least a ticking off from a guide or GM.

If you were being an asshole (and gms will read your text logs) to the other players, while staying inside the rules.. Nothing is really stopping them from DT'ing you, because then they can just kill you, delete petition, and carry on.

GM's don't care about rule lawyers. If they were there first and you were trying to take the camp because "rule x says this so i am in the right" you'll get blasted.

I ported over to a guildy to grab C2 and then gate back to dreadlands to go root/dot in Karnors, as I came around the corner to zone into KC I see a drolvarg with dragon illusion on...Target it to make sure it doesnt see through invis and BAM you've been deathtouched. /bye clarity 2 and 20 minutes of porting and running to get it. I just hope someone got a good laugh out of it, afterwards some random dude from TMO sent me a tell.

The only real problem I actually have with what we label 'GM Decisions' is inconsistency.
Their rules are their rules for reasons as is their choice on how to enforce it. All I want as a player is consistency. It can be very frustrating to try and adapt or adhere to a set of rules and never know exactly what you're dealing with.

With that logic it sounds like you wouldnt have a problem with a lvl 60 necro holding 4+camps in guk by pulling from all of them

But my mind-reading powers allow me to suggest, if there is one player or group happily able to hold down 4 camps and another player or group comes along and starts killing the mobs then they would be camp-stealing. Much better to negotiate imo.

No, the group comes in (or another player) and they tell the person holding 4 separate camps to choose which one to stay at and the group takes whichever one the 4camper doesn't choose.

OK I stand corrected re multiple camps.

I still take the same stance on the first situation though - 1 group pulling from a camp get to claim it. If you had to pull from a camp by fighting in it then there wouldn't be much point in having Harmony or Pacify spells.

I think if you sat right outside.. like lguk lord you can sit in the room before, or frenzy you could sit in the hall. but a while back when the rules were made it was made perfectly clear that you only hold a room if you sit in it. Even sitting in the frenzy hallway is being courteous, technically :p
