OK longshot here; I'm old and played EQ back pre-Kunark. There was a really great log analyzer I had that gave all kinds of analysis including current skill levels, damage - pretty much anything you could think of but I can't for the life of me remember what it was called and I can't find it on the Internet. I have tried several that I did find but they only analyze damage. Does anybody happen to remember this program? I had a raid organizer too when I used to lead the Naggy/Vox raids all the time but there was a separate one for the skills etc.

This was the famous Pasketti parser EQ log analyzer.
The developer actually sent me his source code for research purposes. The program wont work as well on P99 though as there are unresolved differences in how some log details are formatted

Is this an actual need? I haven't looked for parsers for p99, mostly because I rarely raid. I assumed there must be many. I could script something if there really aren't any, so plz let me know.

I think it was a fun thing, tracked your kills by zone, money by zone (with a grain of salt... looting your own corpse for cash is indistinguishable), mobs killed in each zone, number of fish caught by zone, highest hit, total money spent at merchants, etc. Highly filterable.
I think it even had some map capabilities.
I built a log analyzer for P99 previously, I'm a total novice though. More a pain in the ass than I thought.

yes exactly, it was really helpful before one could check skill levels from the inventory screen. I'd say it's a want, not a need.

How does it differ from Gina?

I tried it out on one of my old logfiles:

Pretty neat. Someone smarter than me should revisit it.
Here's where I found it:

@ Incredibox (https://incredibox-game.io), Unfortunately, both of these tools are no longer actively maintained or widely used, as they were developed for earlier versions of EverQuest and may not be compatible with modern versions of the game.
You're a spam-bot, and if the EQEMU community is reliable for anything, it's that our army of nerds can make it work over the course of one relaxing evening.
