Bored LvL 60 Trolling New Players

I WAS excited to play EQ. Dying, Losing Exp, Running forever to get your body back...
Jumjumshot <Kingdom> -- I hope you are the one bad apple, and this server isn't full of jerks like you.


The environment is hard enough. After (taking the boat) and eventually getting my body back - I decided I needed a Bind closer. It wouldn't let me bind at the Druid rings in West Commonlands, so I went to freeport.

Enter our problem. Jumjumshot -- a lvl 60 cleric, who said they would bind me if I helped them. New to game, I didn't realize they led me into the ARENA, proceeded to root/blind/kill me... Then when asked, they claim "I didnt kill you". When I told them I had the recordings/screen shots, they quickly rezzed -- rooted -- blinded me again, and *cleansed* the debuffs....

The game is hard enough. For the bored lvl 60s out there trolling new players, sucking the joy out for fresh players for their own entertainment... Please consider finding joy in literally anything else.

Jumjumshot <Kingdom> proceeded to attempt to con another fresh account into the same trap, luckily I gave them the heads up.

They train you, than take your camp and when you come back.... They claim ownership. Make sure to always petition in game when this happens. Our gms and guides don't take grief kindly. Be safe and enjoy your time on the server.

weird, ive never had this type of problem with Kingdom in general. i have had interactions with players from Kingdom that werent great - just like ive had with Good Guys, Safe Space, Castle, Friendly Druids, Ancient Blood, etc.. but i wouldnt levy accusations at an entire guild based on the actions of a few of their members. pretty bold of you to to generalize an entire guild of a wide range of personalities into being scum.

Yo i gotta back jumjum up. Im new to the server, freshly bard lvl 15. I think its been like 5 days now or so, im not too sure. When i booted up to freeport jumjum was there, and i had a similar experience but i think its about what you take from it.

He took me to the arena after asking me if i was a new player, i was battling my UI and trying to get it to fit my screen etc. I started chatting with him and he escorted me to the arena and killed me. But he res'd me and when he did that, i replied with "lol, so thats pvp." After he res'd me he then asked if i knew what blinding did. Im a bit of a noob but i was aware that blind blacked out your screen. So i told him that i thought it did that, he proceeded to blind me. So i respond with yup it does do that, he explained to me that the arena was pvp, i believe he is trying to show newer players not to mess around in certain areas. Nevertheless, we were chillin in the arena and i had asked him if he could escort me to the bard guild because i would of got lost in freeport, and i did afterwards.

Jumjum showed me to my bard guild, gave me 100pp, and gave me a mace/helm/gloves. I dont think jumjum is there to grief the new players. If anything its a test to see who is green vs who isnt. Also i believe on how you react to a situation, players will behave accordingly. I personally had a good experience from jumjum altho mexi, you feel you had a bad experience. I think its a perspective thing personally, maybe he is trollin newbies, but i didnt feel that way when i loaded into freeport 4-5 days ago.

What do you mean a "Hit Piece"? Like a fresh noob coming back to the game -- struggling to just download/log in, navigate zones, and of course play the game.... Has the time to stage a dramatic grief session with a random lvl 60 in freeport?

It's clear in the screenshot -- what isn't clear is the time wasted with Jumjumshot <kingdom> denying they killed me, and proceeding to rez / root/blind all over again.

For real though -- I don't want their account ruined over this, we have all done stupid stuff. When you don't call it out, it will continue to happen

Jumjumshit is the most toxic player I’ve ever encountered on P99, and honestly, probably the most toxic player I’ve ever encountered on any online game. They’re so clearly disturbed that it’s actually kind of scary to think that this type of person exists outside of insane asylums. I remember when they got banned years ago for bullying and trolling new players. I’m shocked that they are still allowed to play this game

The thing about this part in particular is action should be taken against the account regardless of who was doing it on the account.

Just because it is a shared account does not mean that it should be immune to punishment.

It is discouraging to see so many people having bad experiences with this user and for it to continuously go unpunished.
